New to peptides, a few questions

First one, there a trusted website to order everything from? I've googled and found a few but I'd prefer to go with the consensus best site. I've browsed canadianpeptides and growthguys, any comments of either?

I'm specifically interested in CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin as I watched a video stating the minimal risks and solid benefits (Who doesn't want an introduction to growth hormone production?)

Also curious about BPC-157 & TB500 as I'm sure they could help creaky sore knees and maybe a lingering intercostal rib issue. Also heard to add in GHK-Cu and that's the GLOW stack.

I work a week on week off schedule where I stay at a work camp. They have explicitly banned any peptides and I would lose my job if caught with them. Is it possible to do a week on/week off cycle and still see measurable results?

Thanks for any info!

Welcome to the forum!

I think it's going to be hard to see benefits from peptides if you're planning on doing 1 week on, 1 week off. The only peptide that I could maybe see somewhat work with that schedule is TB500 with a longer half life. It's usually dosed only twice weekly.

I've had some experience with the KLOW blend (BPC, TB, KPV and GHK-cu) and I'd like to think it helped with my recovery. It's hard to say how much it played a role considering the other factors were also as optimized as possible (sleep, recovery, food, training split etc) Let's not forget that peptides aren't just a band aid that you put on to just magically cure any problem. You gotta address the root causes of your problems.

Personally, I don't think peptides are worth it for you with your work schedule

Thanks for the reply. My interest in the recovery stack is mainly due to at least a decade long of knee pain (not debilitating) and just being curious if there is a solution. I consistently train at the gym, my sleep is 6-8h, I've been on a carnivore diet for 18 months and never felt better but these damn knees keep crackling and aching at times. Oh well I'll keep reading as peptides are quite interesting.

Are there any shorter cycle suggestions, in the 3 week range? Just trying to think out loud.

Hello man ! It’s not optimal with your schedule but you can try and see if it’s working for you . If you got 3 weeks to try some lets pinnn it and see. Peptides are interesting and addictive lol

Growth guys, good reviews, ordered a few times myself- pretty straightforward process and good shipping times. I quite enjoyed thier GH kits.
Id say just run the peptides of your choice on your week off and then business as usual up at work. Sometimes doing something "sub-optimally" is better than not doing anything at all..
I believe CMS (also another place to check around) carries BPC oral tablets, might be more targeted to gut health as it passes there first but I haven't looked into that one I just go straight for the injection. But again, could be a way around the site restrictions if they were in a multivitamin bottle or something.
I would take many short week bouts of a peptide for restorative effects rather than one singular 3 week period if this were to be done by taking a week off. Compound effect my friend. Time in is the biggest factor!
Best of luck!

GG are great to deal with. But I personally feel like your wasting your money going week on / week off, but its your money to spend so only you can decide that.

I typically stay away from blends and prefer buying the compounds individually so I can dose and administer what I want when I want it.

When I take vacation I have 21 days off. Could this be an effective short cycle to test if it helps any recovery or once again a waste?

I like this train if thought. I could start a 3 week cycle with vacation I take then continue on a week on week off one and monitor for results.

If i was hell bent on trying the wolverine combo in that situation and made of money I might try the TB maybe 3x on the week I could and the BPC inject (and anything else I wanted to) all that same week and if possible take some oral BPC while at camp. There is a good arguement that you risk wasting your money though, for me that arguement starts with how effective the BPC is orally, we are not rats. But I could bump up the dose a notch to compensate.
There is also the considerable chance that none of this stuff is a fit to fix your shit, root cause and all that.

NCRP
One of my meat suppliers, a good friend of his owns this company.
I have now bought a few times, they are quick to ship as well.
I keep placing my orders on Saturday, I usually get it Tuesday.

I am doing 7 mg of tb and 7 mg of bpc a week 1mg each daily.

It isn’t a miracle, and is not cheap.

I stopped after 20 mg of each and you could tell the difference after a couple days in my shit shoulder. Has it helped it to heal faster, no idea, but it feels better when I am taking it.

Now my shoulder was/is really bad, and is still not great, this is going to take 6 months to a year to heal. I know I should get an mri, but I really don’t want to know how bad I fucked it up. Going to pretend that it will heal on its own eventually, lol.

This has always been my understanding:

BPC-157: don’t bother unless you can commit to ≥4 weeks
Realistic evaluation window: 4–6 weeks

TB-500: don’t bother unless you can commit to ≥6 weeks
Realistic evaluation window: 6–8 weeks

Going to chime in as well, and basically re-iterate what everyone else said.

I started KLOW for a shoulder pain (tendinosis), I only noticed improvement toward the end of the second week. I started with a small dosage because it was my first cycle ever.

You probably won't see any effects unless you can commit to several weeks of daily use

I will play devil's advocate here to the rest of the gang and say that in some cases week on week off is still better then nothing. Yes there is no arguement that every day consistency is optimal and going to yield better results no doubt. One could also say the same for diet yet how many people do you know with 100% perfect diet.

If I were you I would look into some of the USA performance clinics. Get a legitimate prescription having your name on the medication. They aren't banning Ozempic and insulin and both are peptides by the way. Once you have a doctor's script with your name, and a written doctor's note, you can bring it with you everywhere. Sounds crazy but honestly doing this makes travelling so much easier and takes away any scrutinizing because you now have the legal grounds for required medication.

If you really want to save money fill your prescription a couple times a year and refill the bottle with your UGL products. The active ingredient stays the same no one blinks an eye and you keep your job ☺️
