Hey Good morning everyone. I am new to this community and starting my journey in weight loss and better physical health..... Again.....
I was very successful dropping 65 lbs in 2019/2020 with Keto/IF and cycling a few hundred KMs a week. I maintained this for about 3 years, but, few years ago I faltered, gained back and have been trying to achieve that goal again and cannot string more than a few weeks on Keto/IF without tearing things down.
Interested in peptides and exploring Reta, Mots and Tesa. I will post my strategy in another thread. I am looking forward to talking to you all and learning different approaches for me to get back on track.
I ordered some Reta from a couple different sources in Canada; Redfoxpeptides and Purity Peptides. I also ordered one 10mg vial of MOTS-C from Purity.
My strategy is to titrate onto Reta 1mg x 2 Wks, 2mg x 4 weeks and adding 2mg to my dose every 4 weeks until I find my "sweet spot". Once sweet spot found I will look at starting MOTS-C... maybe at 2-2.5mg per week for a 4-5 weeks to see how that affects my progress.
And after 1-2 months on MOTS-C I will look at Tesa.... maybe... But I am also interested in peptides for strength and muscle training.
My strategy is to go easy and measure and track along the way with out making too many changes.
Will check in from time to time and I am always open to feedback and constructive criticism.
As of Sunday June 20 when I did my first 1mg dose of Reta that I got from a friend, my weight was 234 lbs. I am 5'8", 55 years old. I am also going to look into strength training and muscle mass building but need to work on my motivation.
