I took a new job.. Same proffession, but I took a transfer to another building.. Truthfully, I was influenced for a couple years to do this transfer, but I kept saying no because I new it meant more work for me in learning the new position.. My dumbass thought "even though I know my current job is tearing me a part, at least I don't need to learn a new job".
Wow... I knew I needed a change and was getting burnt out before I took the transfer, but I never new how burnt out I was until I started the new job.
New job in my proffession always means lots of extra unpaid work and lots of training/learning you need to do unpaid at home.. Lots more work right now, but I can't get my head around how much better the new job is and how badly I was burnt out at the job I left after 10 years.
If your cranky, stressed, pissy etc.. try a new job.. I wish someone forced me to transfer about 4 or 5 years ago...
