Needle Gauges

Hey bros, quick question(s).

When pinning, what gauge of needle is used usually? Asking because Im purchasing and want to make sure Im getting the right things. There are a number of different needle sizes.

Also, if a needle is flame sterilized after injection can it be capped and re-used?

On a serious note omg NEVER EVER EVER reuse a needle. Your health and safety is not something you should play around with.

On a less serious note buy 2 inch long 18 gauge needle and make sure you put it all the way in
use one to draw and one to pin.

and if your into recycling the used needles can be used as harpoons :)

Wouldn't a 2 inch needle be too long??? How deep is the muscle tissue? 2 inches seems a bit much lol.
 
18g/3ml to draw from vial. Dispose of 18g.
25-27g/1.5in for pinning glutes. Dispose of 25g

Do not reuse pins. Their cheap and honestly man, it's not worth it. Buy lots so if you fuck up, you're not scrambling to get more in the middle of er....Postage strike?
 
So some of you are saying 20g and some are saying 25g.

I'd be pinning delts and figure a 1.5 inch 23g would suffice, does that sound OK?
 
23 to 27 gauge would be suffice, wouldn't stick to strictly delt pins you'll likely wanna rotate area, 1.5inch will work probabaly dont need to bury the entire 1.5inches in some areas.
 
I like the small size. I want to use the smallest possible - could probably go down to 27. If it means I have to push the plunger for 10 seconds longer then so be it!

Better to push the oil in slower anyway from what I've read but again with most things, you have to find out by yourself!

Honestly brother , be careful , that was a silly question about re using needles , but ur in luck cause we all started somewhere, me personally where I'm from I don't pay for needles , they have places that give them out for free so everyone uses clean needles , mostly for the drug academic we have here in Ontario.. I load up on boxes of different gauges , for different areas, lots of different opinions here and they're all right .. One thing for sure is rotate your shots my friend , trust me .. :) Hope you found the answers your looking for ..

That's true in my opinion as well , I noticed when I push harder , leaves more irritation and makes my hand shakey

What are you pinning? Sounds like some hard drugs if your sterilizing with a lighter..lol
You may want to reevaluate what you are doing and do a bit more research before injecting a random substance into your body
 
Use and 18g to draw the oil from the vial. After that change out the needle with anywhere between a 23 and 27 g to inject with. As far as length it can depend on where you are pinning and body fat.
