Looking to start my first cycle of test

Hey guys!
Currently im a fat piece of shit (6'1 237 lbs) on Retatrutide. Hitting weights 5x a week wanting to start on test to help fill in the space so i dont have a ton of loose skin once im where i wanna be in terms of weight (and to look like a greek god obvs)

Debating doing what my friend is, which is 30mg of Test E subcutaneously daily (210 mg a week total) as he said hes having 0 side effects over the course of 13 months and his bloods have stayed perf.

I like the idea of subq as thats what im doing with reta/klow and dont mind pinning daily.

The way he is doing it is not a cycle, its basically a TRT+ kinda thing where he doesnt get off and just does it daily.

Is that feasible for most people? Can i do a 15 week cycle of 30 mg a day subq if I wanted instead? Is there pros and cons to cycleing off or can i even cycle off if i do it this way? If doing daily would somthing like Test P be a better choice?

How old are you? You could run 200mg indefinitely if your blood work and bp is good. I would do that until you leaned out more and then potentially add in some other compounds to make it a real cycle. No point in cycling on and off if you plan on doing this stuff long term as pcting off a cycle is actually harsher on the system than just dropping to cruise doses.

Well yeah you’re effectively crashing your system entirely and waiting for it to start back up. Now is never coming off any better long term? Who knows I’m not a doctor 😅 personally I find I feel much better cruising and waaayy less sides then coming off completely. That’s what works for me though, you’re going to go through a lot of trial and error on this journey to find what works best for your body and your goals

Have you had blood work done to determine where you stand naturally?
You might not need any drugs to attain your goal, just some hard work.
How long have you been training?
How long have you been on reta?
Are you eating like an adult?
No use in jumping to the drugs if you havent addressed the lowest hanging fruit first.
Whats your average weight loss per week. 6'1 @ 237 , there is no guarantee you'll have any lose skin, especially if you lose the fat at a good pace ( as in not too fast ).

Getting blood work done today actually

Training ive been off and on for 7 years as part of physiotherapy (broke my back at 21 at work) but have been serious about the weights and 5x a week+ physiotherapy for around 4 months now

Reta ive been on for under 2months and have lost about exactly 20 lbs (started at 257)

I have indeed been eating like an adult- i live off chicken broccoli greek yogurt and cottage cheese (eggs too) im averaging around 2.5 lbs a week if not a bit more

Doing weights 5x a week and brisk walking pace at 15% incline for 30-45 minutes daily (including days i train)

I try to do all my cardio fasted in the morning when I’m cutting and then come back for weight training. Once you get a blood test with your baseline just go from there . There is no magic dose of test but you will respond better where you haven’t used before , But remember always use the lowest effective dose. Be cautious tho where you have high body fat you may aromatize more. There is really no need for daily SubQ shots. You can do IM shots split twice per week no side effect difference and your levels will remain stable. No need to poke yourself everyday that gets old quick .

Does cardio fasted make a difference? Honestly im not a fan of IM shots for anything but dont mind the daily shots i take of KLOW so that was another reason i was leaning to subq (as well as the stable levels etc) was just gonna pin it in my delt

I’d recommend pinning EOD at the minimum regardless of ester to avoid peaks and valleys of serum concentration. Especially since he’s a higher bf % and will aromatize more. Idk about subq vs im as I pin all my gear shallow IM with a half inch insulin syringe if in low volumes or just regular IM if above 1ML (27g 1 inch)

Just be ready to be in this for the long haul if you do it. Even if you get busy with life and stop training, with a pct, your system may never naturally recover, and you’ll be pinning test for the rest of your life.

I'd recommend re-evaluating things once you get your blood work back.

Do you know your body fat %?

If you want to pin subq daily you can. You could argue either method as superior but it's up you your preference. Some people are very sensitive to the peaks and valleys, you won't find that out untill you start.

In terms of your cardio and the effectiveness of it, all things equal and calories equated, there is very little ( if any ) difference. Just do the cardio you prefer and will stick to.
You could argue It can make a difference keeping your training away from your cardio but if it means you don't get one in then you're still better off doing them together.
