Hi,

I want to do a blood work before starting my first cycle. How I can get it done in Canada without doctor's recommendation? Any recommendation for online labs which can used to order test kit and get delivered by mail?

If above is not possible then I can cross Niagara border to get blood work done in Buffalo. Any labs which can be visited in Buffalo?

Thank you,

Call a local Naturopath and and confirm they do it. After you confirm make sure you are clear this is not going into your medical (Canadian) file. If you say you don't want it it, it won't but if you assume they will keep it you will be unhappy. They will send a copy to your doc to cover their ass.
At least that is how it works with the two who do it here.
Just be clear - you are happy to review results with a Naturopath, want a copy but do not want it in your medical file. They have to follow your wishes.

I posted it in another thread. Telus health, Maple, any online doctor will give you bloods if you mention you don’t have a doctor and would like a checkup. Maybe not hormones but standard panel.
And it’s free.

You can always ask your doctor for a full hormone panel blood work. This may sound dishonest but since you are just aiming to be safe and have a baseline, just a small twist to the truth won't hurt. Inform your GP of low testosterone symptoms like ED, low libido and energy as reason for test. Register to receive results online and you're set.

Then after PCT, give it ample time till you feel recovered then ask for another one this time Let GP know you that you just want to know if you have bounced back Naturally after diet and exercise.

My experience is it's pulling teeth to get a half way decent panel of tests. I request lipids and hormones and I had to badger her to include just total T with the lipids. YMMV, ever doc is different - but the one I saw wasn't hearing it.

if you haven't used onmen, you could pay the $50 for the initial blood test, just make sure you do it a lab that lets you see results online. Skip the consultation.

I don’t ask for hormones, I checked out what was trt dose was when let’s get checked was around so I don’t need it.
Had no issues getting a normal panel done though.

Hi @El Ronero have you used ONMEN? If yes, may you please share your experience?
yes - they are ok... But they test way too often and the nurse I was dealing with didn't know anything about TRT. But you'll get a lab requisite really fast and you can check your own results.
