Kunimatsu Okao vs. Benny Urquidez

The Jet is classic. Is his Jet Center still around? In my late teens, I always wished I could train at the Jet Center and the Inosanto Academy. Closest I came was training at a local school that taught Modern Arnis, with a blend of Thai boxing, aikido, boxing and judo.

The Jet Centre is still around and is still a mecca for fighters all around the world.
Modern Arnis has broken up since Remy Presas passed away. What he teaches is now called Kombatan. Modern Arnis is more or less Dan Anderson's baby these days with what he has adapted to call MA80 System Arnis/Eskrima. Everyone still gets along though.

Yessss. Remy Presas. My Datu (Shishir Inocalla) was trained under Remy. He was one of the teachers at the school - basically the main teacher and the owner. They had a couple other guys teaching a mixture of other disciplines (muay thai, aikido, ...)

Thats a shame to hear that Modern Arnis has broken up. Those were fun days training there. A bunch of guys with a simple love of the martial arts - and who liked to play around and kick the crap out of each other ;)
