Is TRT the Only Move Here?

Hey Guys,

Was doing a blood test because I’ve been exhausted for the past 5 years, but never expected to get results so low.

Is TRT the way to go? Honestly my biggest concern is losing my hair - I would look AWFUL bald lol.

Important things to note first:
Been on Reta for 4 months and lost 30lbs
Sleep like shit lately
Eating calorie deficit
Had fairly low test scores several years ago too (just below range for total and free test), but bio-available test was decent.

most Recent test Results:
Labs (AM draw):
  • Total Testosterone: 4.8 nmol/L - (LOW; ref 8.4–28.8)
  • Free Testosterone: 145 pmol/L - (LOW; ref 196–636)
  • LH: 0.8 IU/L - (LOW; ref 1.0–7.0)
  • FSH: 2.0 IU/L - (low-normal; ref 1.0–8.0)
  • Estradiol (E2): 41 pmol/L (normal; ref <162)
  • ALT: 28 U/L (normal; ref <50)
TRT seems like a lifelong commitment, but if it’s going to improve my life without shortening it - I would strongly consider it.

What’s the next move fellas?

38 - have 2 kids - I’m done no more lol
Ok that’s better if you decide to go down the TRT road.

There are options to try before you go with test
-Clomid treatment
- HCG
- Lots of natural test boosters like Tomkat Ali and Ashwaganda

Also you can try the cream which is a little less invasive then injections.

But yeah if you decide to starting taking test you will likely be on for life and it could shorten life expectancy.

But from someone who had low rest pretty much through my 30s and Dr wouldn’t do anything, it’s pretty life changing. I’d rather shave a few years off the back end for quality of life today.
