Hi guys , Just wondering if any of you had an iron infusion at the hospital. My iron is low and not coming up with the supplements . If so how did it go ? Did it help ? I’m low due to all the phlebotomy I have had to lower my RBC count.

Go to an ND, you will get it faster and they use a better solution that doesn’t take as long as in the hospital (BC anyways).
Some was out of pocket, some was covered by extended health insurance because it was diagnosed by my wife’s GP. She has had 5 so far trying to correct it.

IMAX over the counter. Keep trying with foods and supplements before you choose to do the infusion.

My ferritin was 32 in August.
I’ve been in imax iron supplements since the end of September and I just pulled labs yesterday.
Ferritin is now at 52. So it’s working haha.
Mine was low as well from giving blood too often. Now dealing with higher RBC.
Bought liquid beet juice and mix it with my greens in the am. It’s supposed to help.
I’m only on TRT dose but just added primo back in the mix so we will see if that helps.
I might give that a try too , Can’t hurt anything . I’m on a TRT dose as well. I’d like to be able to get my hands on primo that’s next to impossible and so many fakes now .
