Infection vs just really bad pip?

How could I tell the difference between an infection vs just really bad pip? I did a glute shot friday and its been really sore and swollen more then usual. I also did legs the day before and feel the doms all over but this glute feels a bit worse. I already have golf ball size lumps on both sides from scar tissue but this side is more like a half of a tennis ball now. Theres no heat or redness though.

Obvious signs would be fever and if it gets bigger and discolouration. Sounds like a bad shot or sterile abscess. If there’s no heat or redness the body is gonna do its thing to absorb it. Just slowly.
Sometimes can be due to injection technique sometimes it’s the gear.

If there was redness i would suggest you grab a marker and draw a circle around the red area. If area gets bigger you might have infection. If no change your fine

No heat or redness odds are its just pip

If pip next shot make it in different area.

Sounds like you really should be pinning elsewhere to begin with.
Because of all the scar tissue absortion will be decreased. So if you were sterile and the gear is sterile, it shouldnt be an infection. Inflamation and tenderness hopefully is all it is.
The importance of of site rotation is ofter over looked. I too have pinned my glute max until its begging me for a break in the past. It feels so good moving to a fresh site. Pin goes in easily, oil disperses easily, absorbes quickly, feels more effective overall.

I usually spend 6 to 8 months give er take on a site then move around, but its always just back and forth between delts and glutes. I should probably choose some new spots.

Anything 400 mg will give me redness and a little swollen. Legs don’t work for me, regardless of concentration or what is going in, it always gives me pain, I don’t know why.
I alternate on cycles shoulders and glutes so 4 spots and on trt, I got subq belly to give it a break on muscles.

I had a lump on my glute when younger after some fever, I went to the doctor and he put a drain on my left glute and antibiotics for the infection.

So in my case, if I have a fever and pip its been there for over 5 or 6 days, I will investigate further.

Made 400mg/ml test e in GSO no pip at all. 50mg anadrol, 50mg test p and 50mg tren a per milliliter does though LOL super solvents with EO has a way of doing that

My wife also cheaped out and bought dollerstore Irish spring soap recently. We usually get pretty good quality stuff. I prewash the injection site quickly by hand everytime and ive noticed this soap doesn't rinse off well. It could be the culprit being cheap who knows what's in it.

I had some cheap needles awhile back, many in the pack were blunt. A few literally bounced off my skin. I bought some BD’s and haven’t had an issue with pip since.

Morning - you do not need to wash an area before you inject unless you have a physical job that makes you filthy and you need to shower after work. For the average person, which I know you already know, swab the vial, swab the injection spot, and if using good gear and a clean needle, you should be fine. I have been injecting for decades on and off with TRT or with a mild cycle and this system has never failed me yet.
Accidents happen and you drop the needle/ the needle touches something accidentally. If that happens, I screw off the needle and replace it. I am not arguing with you - it could be the soap but if you take rubbing alcohol (I find 70% best) and you clean off the skin well, you should be fine.
Is it any better or the same? Is this the first for you in years or has this occurred before with specific carrier oils?

Its a bit better today. I dont really know which carrier oils they are. I havent had any pip like that before and used the same product for almost 2 months now. Also I usually only wash the area if I haven't showered yet and I either just woke up or just got back from the gym.
