I have never been so frustrated in my life , putting together this damn IKEA furniture a stupid little Allen key they supply and a shitty screwdriver supplied by them with shitty directions what a nightmare I think I lost my sanity.

I thought about that too but there was too many little spaces where the drill wouldn't fit

It seems that I almost always put their stuff together with something either missing or installed backwards and then have to take it apart and do it over again.

Haha I did that tonight it was all together I went to put the last board on and it was upside down so I had to take it all apart to fit it back in

I put a bunk bed together with my grandson a couple years ago, we’re ualmost done and putting the final touches on it like the ladder and realized I had put it together completely backwards, don’t ask.

Taking it apart was not going to happen so I got my drill out and customized it.

Christ the first thing I do is throw the tools supplied in the garbage and use my own. Their Allan keys are absolute shit, so easy to stripe.

The tools they provide are certainly less than adequate to do a competent job. And it takes twice as long using them, lol. My girl bought a child's swing set and they provided little 2 inch wrenches that were punched out of sheet metal. Holy garbage! I'm like Faller, toss their tools and use mine. Honestly, if you don't have tools cordless drills can be had for $30 and a cheap bit set with allen keys for the drill $15. $45 well spent when you are doing something useful with the time you would have spent fighting to put that furniture together with the supplied tools.
