I have a weird cycling protocol and I am looking for something...

I cycle a bit different than others, at least I believe I do.

I cycle for 5 months and then come off for a random period of time usually 3 months, but this time I'm thinking 6. I have had something come up at work and my time for working out is essentially gone.

That said, I am wondering if there is anything out there that I can take to retain lean muscle during these breaks? It doesn't have to retain it all, but I'm sure 6 months without working out, or taking my supplements, will drop more than I want.

I used anavar in the past for muscle retention, but it requires a test base to prevent suppression. Is there anything out there that does not suppress test or am I just going to have to accept my fate and gain it all back on my next cycle 😂

Growth hormone is anti-catabolic and provides a lot of other benefits. It's better with test, but do what you can.

Pushups and pullups. ;)

I have not trained pretty much for a year and maintained the majority of my muscle by running 175 mg of test and 2 iu of gh for the last year.

Now I do not know if your job is labor intensive, mine is and I believe that helped.

What came up that prevents you from getting any time to workout at all.
Even bodyweight exercises can be done at home and be very effective.
No time for working out is an excuse you’ve come up with to convince yourself.
Yeah, I probably have a small window here and there, but I know that I can't really focus on too many things at once.

A bit of context.

I am in the military. I have subordinates. I have work to do. On top of that I'm currently doing a year long course on top of this. I KNOW that when I cycle I hyper focus on that and don't really get much else done. I rest, eat, workout and sleep. Now I'm throwing in approximately 10 hours of course work per day, and 4 hours a day on the weekends.

I have 5 kids and a wife to top it all off. The yard work still needs to be done, house repairs as well. So my day is essentially shot.

In January I hit a milestone (testing phase).and if I am on track and do well, I am going to try and fit in some compounding lifting, but as it sits I don't have the time for meal prep, let alone time to eat like I used to.

Sob story, sure, but I'm a busy little bee and exercise is the one thing I can cut without too much loss.

Mine used to be, but I've moved into more of a managerial position these days. I have been lucky in the past and I don't usually lose too much, but any extra I can keep would be nice.

Ya man there's not to much you can realistically do in those circumstances other then a couple hundred mg of test a week, a couple units of gh and a good high protein diet. Hang out there for the duration and try to get into the gym once or maybe twice a week for a full body workout.

Believe it or not when I trained full body (2 hours of intention and focus) only twice a week I was able to maintain and look phenomenally better then 99% of average joes in the gym with people regularly asking my routine. Being where you are now you'll maintain just fine.

All is not lost yet besides your hope it's doable :)
