I'm old and I am terrible with this stuff.. Can anyone walk me through how to pay using bitcoin? Step by step with links and pictures if you can..? I do not have a wallet for bitcoin etc.. I don't know acronymes or fancy words.. assume I'm Fred Flintstone...

I'm guessing we could turn it into a sticky for guys like me. .

Thanks in advance.

also for those not going to use bitcoin much or just one time try a bitcoin service. you send them an emt and they send the bitcoin on your behalf
now yes this costs more but convenience always costs more. using this way you do not need to get your own wallet.
message me if you want to know the service I used when I first got into bitcoin. they are easy to use, fast and very safe.

Use Shakepay.

It’s pretty easy. Send money from your account and hold it in a wallet. Buy bitcoin when you need it

So, download shake pay app and then it will walk me through the steps? When I send bitcoin, the vendor said "send to this addrress" and then he gave this very long list of random letters... That's the address?

Yup just cut and paste address into Shakepay address box. It’s pretty simple.

I fought it forever. I use Shakepay as well. It couldnt be any easier. If at all confused there would be info on youtube to walk you through or shoot one of us a message. Once i did it i was kicking self for waiting so long

I watched a youtube vid the first time i did it. I was nervous but it ended up being easy.
Even tho i didnt know how to copy and paste with my phone at the time. Typing that long ass BC address was a pain. Plus i have big fat fingers
