how do you guys determine calorie needs while on PEDs?

I searched through some older forum posts using keywords like calories, food, and protein to try to figure out how you guys approach nutrition while running PEDs.

Do you calculate your calories based on your bodyweight/activity like you would normally, then adjust based on weight changes?

Or is it more of a “eat as much as possible and let the enhanced recovery/growth handle the rest” approach?

Curious how experienced users actually determine their calorie and protein intake when enhanced, especially during a gaining phase.

What are you doing now before using gear
well, im already on gear, i had a coach where he used to design meal plans for me, but i honestly feel like at times it was more than what was needed.

not questioning his integrity or knowledge, but now that im moving away from coaching, and doing self training,

i do carb cycling:
Training Days Being: Macros: 2615 Calories (220 Protein, 44g Fats, 361 Carbs)

Rest Days: Macros: 2250 Calorie (195 Protein, 50g Fats, 290 Carbs)

but this is just 175mg of test-e,

so this is just me wondering “nitrogen and protein synthesis goes up” do you just “bulk bulk” or do you go by 3000 calories to begin with

I can't see why it would be much different than your original maintainance calories.

Please don't do this unless you want to get super fat.

Bloated water buffalo. I tried this. Purposely ate 10,000cal per day on the first cycle. Didn't get all that fat but did gain 30lbs, mainly water but did get seriously strong.

The general rule of thumb is +500 cals/day when using PEDs if you're trying to bulk.

Now that is obviously a vast oversimplification, depending on what compounds you're using you will have different caloric needs, as will how often and intense you workout, what your baseline TDEE is, among many many other variables.

Build your meal plan around your goals, cutting or bulking not your Anabolic intake, some Anabolics will add a bit more water some will make it easier to cut like Tren, yes keep that in the back of your mind but you should be basing it alway on goals. Adjust calories as required.

way to much food with not enough AAS,ramp the food up as the AAS go up,depending on what you weigh that is

I keep it simple. 300 calorie surplus when you’re in a growth phase, 300 calorie deficit in a cut phase + cardio. maintenance on cruise. protein always 1g/lb.

that’s what I do anyway, not saying anything about it being perfect.
