How crazy is this amount of sugar

So my daughter has been asking for a milk shake from the gas station convenience store for the last few weeks.
So yesterday my wife let’s her get one, unaware of the sugar content. We only let her drink less than half of it.

Needless to say she will not be getting another one.

It just blows me away how this is normal to some people

It’s 79 grams of sugar!!!!

Sugar can become an addiction like anything else.
That is a lot for one drink. Look at the size of a reg fountain pop now - it’s nuts.

40gs per 355ml give Or Take a few depending on the soda. Gotta admit though love the burning sensation with my eyes watering. So good.
