HMG

Anyone take this ? I'm gonna be running clomid, Hcg , Nolvadex. I figured HMG was the missing variable. Or FSH itself.. Anyone been successful having a baby doing this ?

I think I read some things about clomid being cycled and long term like 12 months could actually lower sperm count. I'm only mentioning because fertility could take a year but clomid for pct is generally shorter

Man it was a long time ago, can’t remember the protocol I used, but didn’t help. It did try with all those products. Little swimmers weren’t strong enough even with IVF. In retrospect it turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me but ya. Good luck, don’t want to discourage you but just know that it might not work.

The only thing I really remember is how much of a big baby chlomid turned me into lol.

The absolute minimum time to get just a single sperm cycle is three months. Maybe longer if you aren't counting how long it takes for compounds to totally leave your system. I got back online quicker but they figured I wasn't 100% shut down.

I personally feel if the relationship isn't great then a lot of people won't really produce too much. That was my case lol. Stress is a big factor.

I am repeating myself and feel like a broken record but TRT alone for a few years created a man who had azoospermia (no sperm). The dim doctors at the time told me I would never have sperm again and by balls were permanently shrunken. Anyway, more is known now but @ARUSH is correct - you can take everything and have a child or take everything and never have any luck. I know guys on full cycle - 1000 mg of multiple compounds a week and they impregnated women so there is no clear answer.
What I do know is very few doctors specialize in male fertility but there are some - find one. I proved the dim GP and endocrinologist wrong by stopping TRT cold turkey, and used ED meds to help with sexual fuction. Within a month I had about 50% of the sperm I should (they did not offer HMG, HCG, Clomid, or anything). They told me there is no treatment.
I stayed off and within 3 months - I had normal sperm again and my testicles were back to normal size. I used herbs known to help your testicles make testosterone. I figured if they grew, started increasing my test output, the sperm would too and it worked. The problem was in 3 months (this is from years ago so my it may have been longer) the morphology was still bad. Half the sperm did not have properly formed tails to swim where they needed to go. I stayed off TRT and kept hammering the herbs and eventually I got up to a normal sperm count and 90% good morphology. Still even with masturbating into a jar, having a doctor implant it (not IVF) but very similar - no luck.
Had I known being put on TRT would impact my sperm, I would have suffered until we had kids.
Again, keep in mind I was not as educated back then with the medications available for male fertility, the availability was not there in the UGL world, and doctors in this Province are idiots.
I would take everything I possibly could for success. Now that I am more educated in PED's, PCT, and drugs in general - I would have procured these from the doctors or they would have to call security to get me to leave or I would have travelled to the US where they have clinics for men and doctors who know what they are doing.
Part of this is all my fault - the forums were not around, I did not do enough research, and at the time believed doctors. I now research everything they tell me as I record our conversations and then research to determine if they are correct. Over time I have become good friends with two GP's and 2 internal medicine specialists and have the benefit of asking them anything.
I can't remember the protocol I used but back then I still had a strong interest in alternative medicine and still have all my Naturopathic books. You can go to any book store or online book store and buy books that have sections on fertility.
It all starts with a comprehensive sperm analysis - yes, you go to a private room and masturbate but at least you know if it is you. Once that is done, you can self treat if you like and do it again and see if there is any improvement. In today's world any endo should be willing to help you and if kids were important to me, I would tell them I took testosterone boosting products (not steroids) that had proprietary ingredients and it helped you recover because you played sports and lifted weights. You fear those OTC products may have damaged your testes.
Sorry for the dissertation but this topic gets me pretty worked up as the doctors always focus on the woman when it isn't always related to their fertility.
Good luck

Yeah there’s no guarantee either way. I did have my son from a previous relationship in my early 20’s. I always only wanted one, so I had gotten snipped after my son was over a year old and healthy. The decision to try for a second came around my 30’s, by then I had already been messing with steroids for 7-8 years. At first I tried a vasectomy reversal but that didn’t work since the doctor who did the original surgery didnt leave enough tubes to reconnect properly. So we ended up going the IVF. Took a few TESA sessions over the course of few years to get any improvement on motility, morphology and concentration, So those products definitely helped a little. They did go ahead near the end of my attempts with some they considered possibly viable and fertilized some of her eggs. But they just didn’t catch. Long story short it is possible they might have succeeded if they kept trying, which they were more then happy to keep trying. But I pulled the plug on the venture as it was getting near to the 100K mark, needless to say to say that turned into a whole other headache but I wasn’t ready to go bankrupt over it. Thats just my story. But like GoldenRod said I’ve known guys on heavy cycles that were able to conceive, so everyone’s different. Granted they never did do a dna test to make sure they were really theirs ;)
