HGH Timing

I get the same thing. 2 iu put me at 6.2/6.4 fasted in the morning. At other times if day I’m at 5.2 ish. Sometimes even go hypo if I go a long time between meals so 4.2. I get caffeine induced hypoglycaemia and have for a while now.

Anyhow it put my A1C at 5.8 where without gh I was 4.8.

I usually run 1 iu instead to keep my glucose levels more towards the prediabetic stage. Anyhow been running gh for a year now, with elevated glucose levels and truthfully I’m not worried.

I do have a thought though.

I think for some of us 1iu is too much, 1/2iu is all we need for replacement levels because our bodies still produce enough gh, even when older.

I was also thinking if I take weekends off that may help.

Going to run some experiments in the future.

Now that being said, I check my blood glucose 45 min after a meal and then 2 hours later and it’s within normal range, and that’s where I’m more conserned. So after a meal I’ll be 7.5, and 2 hours later 5.6 on 2 iu. If Iwas 11 45minutes after a meal and 7, 2 hours later, I’d stop taking gh.
i bet for most people.less than a half iu is replacement dosing,i agree , 1 iu is alot compaired to what we make naturally

Best part about .5 iu, it’s so much h cheaper especially if you are using pharma.

I am still running 1 iu, but for tendon, rib healing.
thats right i forgot you had mentioned that awile back,1 iu pharma gh should be helping the recovery pretty well right,ya .5 of generic stuff is a waist of time,gh is not all equal

I really don’t know what the difference between generic and pharma, but other than one, all generic gave me horrible sides even as low as 1/2 iu.

Back pumps where I couldn’t bend over, far worse than 30 mg of dbol a day.

Pharma, nothing. At least with cinnotropin. And I know I’m getting something from the gh. I feel full like on a cycle and I heal almost as fast as when young.

3 weeks today and the ribs are not clicking anymore, but the muscle still likes to spasm. Hanging and lat stretching multiple times a day keeps it away and ice.

whats crazy is you just named off everything going wrong with myself lol your not lying here, cinnotropin is tops

there’s lots of discussion about timing GH. i personally just take it 3 hours after my last meal before bed. they say the dose peaks while you sleep or whatever and the lipolytic effects are still present with fasted cardio in the AM. I however have not played around with different timing and have been on Reta when using it. fasted glucose is somewhere in the normal range (can’t remember numbers as I just take it at work,) at 4iu pre bed. also young though without ever having any A1C elevation.

I take 1iu daily @05:30 to 06:00, then wait a minimum of two hours to eat.
Theory according to my ND (and some of my research) is that it’s long enough before bed to allow my natural release the opportunity to still function. If I was taking more than a longevity dose 2iu or higher, I would take before bed and forego an attempt at a natural process to take place.

Side note: I feel this method is working as I did some Sermorelin at night (to finish off my last vial) with a good response (“feels”) and seemingly avoided a negative feedback loop. Energy and fat burning was good.

I haven’t been monitoring BG but should start. I haven’t had any hyper/hypoglycaemic responses.

I can’t remember who mentioned it but just get it into your daily program and be consistent. That’s the only way you will know how it will affect you.

I'll fill you in on my experience so far, I'm no expert but I'm trying to use HGH as safe as possible. I've also only been on HGH for 2 weeks. First thing I did was look at my A1C on my blood test, mine was 5.2, then I bought a blood glucose meter (well it was actually free with a coupon that I posted last week) all of this was done before starting HGH to get a base line. I tested my fasting blood glucose in the morning before eating anything and it was 5.4. I took 1IU of HGH for 4 days with no issues, after the 4 days I bumped up to 2IU's per day. Then I tested my fasted blood glucose and it was 6.2 which is not good (not terrible though), I will now try taking my HGH in the morning an hour before I eat my breakfast and then after doing that for 3 days I will test my fasted glucose again to see if it improved. I'm also doing 2mg of Reta which also helps blood glucose, if my fasted blood glucose is still high then I will need to decide if its worth the risk or up my Reta dose to see if that corrects it. Again I'm no expert and this is my first go with HGH, but I have done lots of research and lots of @CoolRick comments and suggestions, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be taking such a cautious approach, thanks buddy!
You're welcome. I hope everyone, GH or not checks their blood sugar regularly. It's super important, not just for health but for growth and recovery as well.

I'm far from a GH expert and truthfully I don't really see it's usefulness, but maybe in the future I can give it a better shot.

I am taking gh at night because of convienience, but for some reason my brain says in the morning after you shower and before work would be better for anti-aging and fat loss.

Once winter hits and I move my gh inside out of the garage fridge, then I’ll give it a shot

If you haven’t used gh or real gh for any extended period of time, I could understand why you wouldn’t see its usefulness. But once you do, then you understand. It’s not like gear, it’s subtle, but had a dramatic impact long term. More when you are older.

As an example, I have not trained in a year. I have eaten way off script, but I’ve held on to my muscle mass and stayed lean at 55. I’ve not trained before taking the same amount of test and no gh, and the outcome was way different, and I was 5 years younger.

I have no doubt you're right but my cycles have only gotten shorter and shorter over time so I wouldn't use something like this long term at bodybuilding dosages. As far as I see it, GH is good for increased insulin resistance, weird bone growth and making people's faces look weird. Not my thing. Outside of a legitimate HRT/ QoL dose I remain unconvinced.

The main barrier has always been getting my blood sugar under control while using it otherwise I could see myself using 1-2iu of the stuff, but then again I've only seen slight benefits. I'm sitting on a decent amount of it so I will give it a solid run when I'm much leaner. I'm a fat ass right now and I'm just getting back into the swing of things 😂

Hey Sorbate - how long ago was it that you used generic hgh and got the sides ? are we talking recently - or back 4 or 5 years ago ?

I'm taking hgh now - 3iu early morning 7am. Like you I started slow - 1iu / day - increased it .5iu/ week till I am where I am now - although you titrated up more quickly .

I too have a bs meter-- and I've tested myself for the last 2 weeks first thing in the morning before the hgh- and am typ at 5.4-5.6 which is ideal.

I am on reta.

I have read that the body does acclimatize to the hgh - so although your bs may be high it will come back down over time.

I did a test one morning - and took my bs before the 3iu - was 5.6 and then 2.5 hrs later (still fasted I just went back to bed) - it was still 5.6

Next morning I took 5 iu to see if I could spike my bs - and again checked before & 2.5 hrs later - again results were ideal 5.4 & 5.4. So maybe my system is getting use to it - maybe I'm just not affected that much by it.

You may want to run your hgh at a low dose 2iu for a month to see if your bs readings come down like mine.

I’m new to HGH and I’m starting off at 2iu. I work nights and usually go to the gym afterward around 10:30 PM. I finish around 12-12:30 AM and then eat pretty much directly after usually a high carb, high protein meal.

I’m wondering if I should take my dose around 2 AM after my post workout meal and go straight to bed, or if I’d be better off waiting until the morning and taking it around 9:30-10 AM, then having my first meal around 10:30-11 AM.

Which timing would make more sense?
I've read that if your taking low dosage - then early morning is best as your IGF-1 levels return to baseline about 15 hrs later - which would allow your pituitary the ability to release it's natural gh pulses when your sleeping.....That's what I do- at present I'm 3iu in the morning.

I think your timing wise it all depends on your age/how much gh your pituitary is producing - and on how much hgh you are taking.

Sounds like you go to bed later than normal though.

I have a strong suspicion that my natural gh pulses are low or non existent...I may try taking hgh before bed to see if it helps my sleep....that would really be nice if it did...

Maybe 2 years ago. I even tried 1/2 iu eod and still had issues.

I have ran 4 iu of cinnotropin and zero issues other than i get really full, joints got tight.

Have you considered it might have been that you had hgh with high dimer count that was causing the sides ?

That was a few years back - hgh quality has improved since then.
