Once you get used to low doses of hgh, you won’t feel the side effects.
I always ride it out when I increase but this time at 6iu, I started to get stiffness/swollen-like feeling and pain in my right ankle towards the morning. Even carpal tunnel is something I was able to overcome at 6iu. Hands would go numb in the middle of the night. Hands would be swollen during the day, impacting my ability to function. All of the little ones go away eventually. It took me 2-3 months.
As for joints, I’d say what you’re experiencing is normal for a beginner. My joints feel great on it except for that ankle joint. I have pain in many joints and when I reduce my dose from 6iu to 3iu as I have now, I feel all those joints. Feeling my left elbow as I type this. I’m also in BPC/TB combo. I have a low salt and low carb diet.
Well, my intention in using HGH was mainly to help with joint pain and an elbow/shoulder injury that I now believe is more nerve-related than structural (nothing showed on the MRI except for a small 2 mm tear on the infraspinatus tendon).
I’ll finish this run, but I don’t think I’ll use HGH again in the near future.
At least now I know what it feels like to be on it, and it gave me the opportunity to collect more data on my body haha
I didn't read all the comments so apologies if I am repeating things already said. 2IU is a good low dosage for injuries, I was using script HGH and has no side effects except my slept suffered. It is supposed to help your sleep - I can't tell you how many times I used 2-3IU and it completely messed up my sleep. It also send my BP up 10 points as your retain water. If you retain water you may feel a little stiffer but you would have to be retaining a fair bit.
Well, at first when I started, I was using 2 IU before bed, and I can definitely say it was messing with my sleep a lot. I’ve been wearing a Whoop strap for the past 3 years, so I can track my sleep phases. As soon as I started, my RHR went up and my deep sleep decreased significantly. I then switched to 2 IU in the morning, and everything went back to normal except for my RHR
My blood pressure has gone up a bit too around 10 points
Did you put much weight on?
I also put on some weight. When I first started, I was 175 lbs (I’m not a big guy haha), and now I’m at 185 lbs.
But my weight has been going up ever since I started TRT. When I first began in May, I was 165 lbs after a small cut, and now I’m 185 lbs while eating the same amount of calories around 3,200, which is usually my maintenance.
Are you healing? I had to use much more than the 'general' mcg's they recommend for BPC157 - 250 mcg's twice a day. At minimum 1 mg and I have used 2 mg many times to great success and for other injuries not so much and the other remedy is surgery or a time off and active healing with low weights.
I can say that it’s better, but definitely not resolved. Some days I feel good, other days not so much. If I do too much volume from a combination of gym and work, I’m screwed mostly with my elbow/ulnar nerve.
Like I said, it’s not my first time using BPC, but it’s the first time at this dosage. Now I think I should’ve just used the regular TB/BPC combo but at a higher dose than I used in the past.
Because right now, I can’t really say if the BPC is working or not, since I’m also dealing with side effects from the HGH.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to share their input in this thread.
I mentioned it in another post, but I should definitely start a log about my journey — why and how I ended up on TRT.
All of your input has been really helpful!
