hdl and ldl

This is a good example of how heart disease really has nothing to do with fats but more towards high carb diets.

LDL comes in four basic forms: a big, fluffy form known as large LDL, and three increasingly dense forms known as medium, small, and very small LDL. A diet high in saturated fat mainly boosts the numbers of large-LDL particles, while a low-fat diet high in carbohydrates propagates the smaller forms.Feb 14, 2010

Because it's been common for people to live long lives with high ldl and others to have heart attacks with low ldl. Maybe high triglycerides and high ldl is a bigger predictor of risk. There are also studys showing people with high ldl over age of 50 have lower rates of all cause mortality but just a quick search shows that maybe some of these studies are flawed.

Isn't your hdl 85% what your body makes and only 15% of what you eatr?
I think lipids, and diet is only a small part of the story, assuming you eat “healthy”… I don’t believe in restrictive diets… Fats, carbohydrates and proteins All play important role for an athletic individual.

Artery and heart disease is a multifactorial problem. That said, plaque in the arteries occurs due to the presence of inflammation. Inflammation in the body (I believe) is far more to do with stress and cortisol then it has to do with the food you eat.

Vitamin D is clinically shown benefit in everything from insulin resistance to arterial stiffness. Endogenous synthesis of which appears to be more dependent on dietary cholestrol intake than skin pigmentation, I believe white people with low cholestrol intake can spend the whole day in full sun and not make enough vitamin D.

I use a 25 dollar 295nm ~15 mW UV LED for a couple minutes every morning along with the red and near IR therapy.

I agree but also I think trans fat, too high omega 6 to 3 ratio and too much sugar( mainly fructose) play a huge role in the inflammation.
