Gym Equipment Cost of Hammer Strength Chest Press

I'm considering buying something like hammer strength incline, and or decline chest press machines. For personal home gym use.

Does anyone have any opinions on these?
Any idea what they are worth used in Canada?

Thanks!

Their iso lateral presses at all angles are definitely some of the best out there. Simple designs with good strength curves. They’re also built like tanks.

A quick search on Facebook marketplace is showing me some advertised for 1000-1500.

Definitely worth the footprint in a home gym if you already have all the basics

I love hammer strength pull machines, but not the press so much. Dont like being locked into that angle on my shoulders.
But if they fit you well, i would go incline. I find decline useless.

Agree with both comments - Hammer Strength makes a great incline, I prefer dips bare or with the machine for lower but their machine is good too. I love their back equipment like @superbeast - can use heavier weight with no injuries and the movement is smooth and hits the muscles well. Not sure I would buy anything other than a smith machine for home gym (other than bench, bands, weight, DB's, etc.) unless you have endless funds and a lot of room for one reason only. I go from incline bench with the Hammer Strength Machine to Smith machine if no one to help for safety, and mix in a bit of DB inclines when I see someone I trust to stand behind me for safety.
Still if I had the room and could pick one incline machine - of all I have tried that would be it.

First line is exactly my experience, their pushing machines just fit me a bit wrong. Always thought it was weird cause my bone structure seems like very much in the middle , If I was buying I'd be doing extensive fit testing

Just the amount of space these things take up really limits how far you can grow your home gym.
I have 18’ x 48’ of space for my home gym, and it filled up fast. I couldnt justify taking up so much space for a machine that can only target one specific muscle that i can hit much better with free weights anyway.

Thanks for the input guys!

I train at home only. My training is basically all day long, once every 2 hours I do a move.
Its a break from sitting on the computer, and I can fit more in and never miss a workout because I make it a smaller comitment, even if my energy is low I can get it all done spread out throughout the day.

I have powerblocks up to 90 ( awesome space saver and never breaks unlike bowlfex weights ), and a set of 100lb dumbells

I have a nautilus which is a combo pull down/ seated row, squat rack and bench all in one, no smith machine.

I have t bar row fitting to put the barbell in for that.

I actually never tried T-bar rows until this year, and I feel that it is the best move I do by far. There is something about that curved path, that is really working me and engaging my back unlike the other pull moves.

That said I have never tired the hammer strength machines yet, but being curved, and injury reducing, I want to try them.

Probably high on my list would be to swap this rack for one that has dual cables and a smith machine in about the same foot print first.

Then try a hammer strength machine on top of that.

already doing really deep dips for that, but wanted something a bit different angle to throw in there,
I have also never tried decline bench either though... hmmmm
