Growth hormone and blood sugar

Hey boys, at 44 I’m ready to finally take the plunge into the growth hormone world. Been on TRT for 7 years, on and off stuff for 20 plus. Nothing excessive. That’s what we all say, but I’d say it’s mostly true with me. Anyway, always have been interested in GH, and decided to wait til it absolutely made sense for me. Anyway, I’m sure I could go and do a deep dive on every thread posted, and to be fair, I did do a search with both gh and blood sugar. I figured I’d ask though, I don’t post often. Would I need blood sugar control on a max of 4iu? I’m honestly going to try 2-3iu as that’s as far as I want to push it. It’s for general health, repair and hopefully a bit of fat loss. I don’t have any blood sugar issues. About 15% bf at 245 pounds. If blood sugar control is recommended even at a small dose, do you guys use insulin, metformin, the glp’s?

Is there a - “do this” generic blueprint most follow.

Any advice or information would be honestly appreciated.

Cheers

Well - I'm a newbie in the gh arena - but I'll tell you what I know.

I'm almost 60 - on 1.5 iu/day - started at 1iu/day. Been on it for a few weeks now - suspect I have ahgd - I was tired all the time before - now I feel normal - and things are changing nicely for me. I was on cjc/ipam before gh - and this did help - but paled in comparison to gh for me.

Yes gh does affect bs - just bought a bs meter and test strips yesterday. I was prediabetic before I started reta almost 2 months ago - so I have to watch myself. There is a person here who said that even a small amount of gh made them prediabetic - ie 1 or 2 iu - so it affects us all differently.

Hearing your in good shape - you probably don't have much to worry about - but imho 2-3 iu is a high starting point - saying that I don't know your gym routine - or if you have one - or why your doing this - general health & repair is a broad spectrum. For me it was my fatigue -my testosterone results came back fine.

Have a friend on about 5-6 iu of gh - maybe it's more - can't remember - but he's young- and bodybuilding - your relatively young too.

You want to watch for sides - carpal tunnel syn, stiff or sore joints - etc - that will tell you your dose it too high. I may up my dose in the next 2 or 3 weeks to 2iu - just want to start checking my bs - this is important to me.

And the quality of your gh has an effect too - the purity should be 96-97% - but the dimer should be below 1.5% - this is the cross linked gh molecules from what I understand - it is on jano reports - and it will cause the sides - the higher the dimer - the poorer the gh - I've seen dimer at next to zero - check out the jano report on gg 450 iu kit- average dimer maybe .095- and I was just looking at another jano report on another brand of gh yesterday that had a dimmer of 1.1 %. I'm no expert on this - just learning.

Not sure what you can do for blood sugar control -I know gh increases the igf-1 factor - I'm on reta now - maybe some of the more experienced guys can jump in.

I have taken 5.5ius for 2 years straight no issues previously I’ve only been back on 5.5ius a while but I’m taking Reta now too which is good for regulating blood sugar.

It effects my blood sugar at 1 iu a day. We are all different.

I will cycle my gh useage on and off and allow my body to go back to normal. Gh works, but wasn't a game changer for me, so I would suppose that my gh levels were not overly low for 55.

1-2 iu's a day affected mine... deffinitely get a glucose monitor and check your levels often.. Make sure you get a base line and when you start gh, check your levels the same times as when you got your baseline.

why are you taking gh? Just curious...

Just been lifting for 30 years, grappling for 14, running for 10. Lots of joint - tendon - ligament issues. I was always told GH was really good for this, also.. perhaps a bit of fat loss. I could definitely use it for the former though. I just know GH has been around a long time. I’m a bit apprehensive about the new’ish peptides on the market.

Thanks for the info, guys.

I was apprehensive too...a long while back - but I've dug into it alot - was worried about coa's in the beginning -now I'm not.

I've come to realize there are alot of chinese manufacturers doing this - and they are very very good at it - so many people are taking things - if there is something bad with a product you'll know fast - most likely from others that have taken it first - unless it's some very rarely use pep that few use - then research is your best option.

Don't want to derail this thread - but I remember you mentioning this before @Sorbate - how much did that low amount affect your bs ? - do you remember the approx readings you were getting ? Were you getting sides ?
