Nothing wrong with the product you are using if the ingredients are legit/at the dosage they list. Not one of my preferences but that is because I have yet to find one that is better than Genuine Greens Detox. That is just an opinion, but none are perfect and these mixes usually have a lot of specific ingredients and lower amounts in a plethora of organ protecting substances or so called detox ingredients.
The so called ' super foods ' are in both which is great, but when I think of a greens drink I consider it a way of reducing the number of supplements for inflammation, protecting your organs, gut health, minerals/vitamins from foods, etc. It is a great addition, if you are unable to eat enough vegetables/fruits/and if you purchased the ingredients individually your monthly budget would be ridiculous.
Phosphatidyl Choline is one the proven liver protecting supplements and GGD is loaded with it.
Spirulina is one of the few supplements known with studies to protect the kidneys.
It contacts 8 bacterial cultures for your gut health albeit if you want a lot of these ingredients you have to find a store that keeps these in a cold environment and are significantly higher than listed in either.
I disagree with the way they list the GGD as Greens plus and then others as detox. One of the best ways to detox your body (if that is even possible) is to to reduce inflammation and contains compounds that have some evidence behind them to protect organs against toxic compounds.
Through time, some organs will recover from the onslaught of the toxins we run into daily.
I do not take this year round, some supplements yes, but considering my diet is already loaded with cruciferous vegetables, foods that are natural anti-inflammatory, never eat sugar or fast food - I consider this as a bonus.
I made a post for supplements on a budget and this is one product I recommended.
Not a doctor, not a nutritionist, just one person's opinion.
There are posts made for health on a budget but nothing can replace a healthy diet.
