I don't have a new GP yet...and this might not be an issue when i have to switch since i have been on prescribed for over 15 years. My GP and i have a great relationship. She prescribes but after all these years she does no specific hormone BW, she says if my overall BW is good and i feel fine "just take your twice weekly injection and leave it alone." I am prescribed 100mg but i am honest and tell her i bounce around between 100 and 120. She never approves or disapproves. When i have had to deal with some hormone/TRT issue; hematocrite, sleep apnea, etc she is honest that she is not a specialist and sends me to hematologist or whatever i needed at the time OR i have paid for private consults with Dr. Andrew Winge and provide her the information.
I am just doing my research. Many years ago a tried True Balance and they were clueless on modern protocols around ai, etc. (i could write a whole thread on it). I recently did a consult with Regenesis. You ONLY get to see and work with a RNs. I liked there philosophy around dosage, E2 and hematocrit but i want higher level care (a doctor) if i am going to pay for a service out of pocket. And if the new GP is not comfortable with TRT i don't plan to debate, i will just get my hormones managed elsewhere. I am potentially even willing to drive down to CLG for the access to the right clinic.
Doing a bunch of AI research (a basic starting point), GameDay in West Edmonton keeps going up on Claude, Gemini and GPT as the top rated. Just curious on real life experiences with the clinic.
