too soon for that kind of cold. It was 100% humidity this morning and 37° in the afternoon. Mosquitoes are out in force…we need a few cold days to knock them down.And then its hot as fuck today lol...
Wood stove for 5 days, then back to AC for the past 2 days
Pest guy came by, I had pretty much killed them off with the spray I used, he had the powder to finish the job.
Ok I may be a bit paranoid here, but the guy is spraying the poison and its coming back at him, no protective gear, he doesn't care. Then he goes to use the dust, it has poison in it, grabs it with his bare hands, fills his dust squirter (turkey baster, lol) and blasts it in the cracks, as he inhales what blow out.
Then we chat for a bit, he's actually a great guy, gives me a bag of the dust (we can't buy it in Canada without a licence) grabbing it with his hands, lol.
I pay him, he goes to shake my hand, I did not want to be rude, shook his hand, then ran into the house and washed my hands.
Made me cringe a bit. I know the poison is not overly poisonous to us, but I can't see how long term exposure can be good for you.
But my wasps are gone.
Well the ones at home, I went by the storage shed for work today and the fuckers are building a nest right above the door. I went into the office at the storage lot and told him, and he tried to get me to take care of it, lol. Guys terrified of wasps. If I hadn't used up all my spray, I would have no problem.
