Front loading rather than backloading?

Rather than pulling plunger wouldn't it be more effective and sterile to remove the needle and load through the front if wanting to preload multiple needles with multiple esters. Am I missing something here. Feel like as soon as you remove that plunger your opening up chances of contamination significantly and often end up wasting gear when you reinsert plunger as some always makes way out the needle. 🤷

I use an old vial and load multiple AAS compounds to make my custom cycle. I wonder if this is save to do also? I have had a problem yet.

Think i see where your going her. It would work fine on 1 cc syringes with removable tips but it wouldnt work on easy touch slin pins or similar
For sure. Would not work on slin pins. Im using 1cc and than a 29g 5/8. Also have 30s. I do use slin pins for peptides.

Just draw with one needle, remove, put on new needle.
In this case I am using multiple substances in each and preloading several syringes. Even if only doing one I find by time I get to the third one It seems hard to be precise with how much your actually pulling. 🤷

I see.

Never had that issue.

I started off backloading but now I front load with luer lock needles.

Just make sure you hold it eye level to get a proper meniscus reading and wipe everything down before starting and after finishing. Insulin needles have to backload but switching to injection pen is much easier and more convenient IMO.

I think the whole contamination worry is overblown. We aren't in proper lab setting and I've never had a problem, just don't be a dirty gremlin lol

Injection pen? I have 2 I use for peptides. Didn't think they would work well with oils.

Sorry I meant injection pen for peptides!

I don't use insulin needles for oils, just front load the syringes and throw a luer needle on top.

I know this is not good practice, but i use the same 3ml barrel and 20ga needle to backload for usually at least a week before getting a new one.
Pull my 0.2 test, then my 0.2 npp, then backload.
I clean the needle with a wipe before and after each use.
Been doing this for years without issue.

What the hell man🤦🤦🤦. Why??? And im not trying to be an asshole. Awesome you have had no problems but damn.😬😬.

It may just be my anxiety. Sitting there making sure each measurement is exact😂😂😂
Don’t worry about a couple units plus or minus. Try not to run short or over your target dose by like 10units per compound. It will drive you mad focusing on needle waste or extra on the draw due to needle size being thicker and usually longer than the inject needle size.

I have done this, not fun.

In short, just be consistent and not sloppy….

this made me cringe a little as someone who works in healthcare. why not backload a week worth of pins and leave a gap between the stopper? it’s probably fine, but it feels like it’s not hahaha

Lazy or cheap.
A combination of both. Lol

If anyone is interested in a half full bottle just let me know.
