Finished my basement bar area

I didn’t do any renovations in this room, just moved the pool table (came with the house) and leveled it.

Bought and built the bar table and chairs (only needed 3, my wife, my grandson and me)

Hooked up the 6 ceiling speakers that were already built in by the original builder (the guy who built this house was a house builder, thats why the extras)
to a 300 watt amp, and added on a 12” 200 watt sub box. Not stupid loud, the speakers are not top of the line high wattage type, that is why I didn’t spend a fortune on an amp or sub, but the quality is more than good enough at a pretty loud level. I’ve always been into audio systems, in cars and house. My talent is finding cheaper stuff that puts out a decent sound quality. I have built high end stuff before, but I am not looking for crystal clear at 160 db anymore.

So since it will be winter soon and can’t enjoy having a beer outside, had to set up an indoor area. The basement is nice because the lower area is 9’ ceilings, the area above the pool table is 11’ so it doesn’t feel cramped.

Gotta have some place to drink my 4 (ok maybe 6) beer once a week, lol.

This also doubles as my PlayStation area, or if we want to watch a movie on the big tv. I have it hooked up with a soundbar and sub as well.

Maybe one day I’ll get friends to invite over…. Actually naw, too much work, I’ll just drink with the wife instead.
