Fake Matrix websites

Hello CB community, thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my side of the experience we had with a guy named Joel Gray.

A few months ago a scammer started www.matrixlabscanada.com and started pretending to be me. He reported and took down our original (real) website www.matrix-laboratories.com
As we become more successful. People don't bother read the post and just google the name of the lab, then order from whatever website pops up.

The real email is [email protected]
The faker made [email protected]

A few days ago, a guy by the name Joel gray decided to send us an email blackmailing us. Basically asking me we either pay him a chunk of money or else...
I asked him to provide some info so I can look into it. I even offered to speak to him over the phone to figure wtf exactly happened to him and offer him a solution. Instead of handling the matter like a man, he started acting weird. He goes from hot to cold within one email. For example, he somehow knows I have a daughter (which I never told anyone online). He wishes she gets R#PED (as you can see in the screenshot), then he threatens to call the bank, law enforcement, and destroy my reputation in the online community. Providing a bitcoin wallet address and a certain limited time.

He spammed us for three days straight. We weren't able to dispatch a single order on Thursday nor Friday. Our mailbox is full because of him. I then got tired of respectfully repeating myself to him trying to let him know that the scammer and I are two different people. I also asked him, WHY DID YOU NOT READ the first post on SST prior to ordering? That's where I have my list posted ON PURPOSE. He kept going on with the threats and insults, and that's when my inner John Lennon went in, and my inner 2Pac came out. I refuse to be belittled/ disrespected after I extend my arm to you for help, even though you walked right into a trap with a warning sign in front of it.

Do I have to suffer the consequences of your own doings? Let's be realistic here guys. I know I'm a hot headed guy, but please take some accountability for your own actions before you dump your problems onto other people.

He emailed me again yesterday asking me if I want to speak to him privately on session. Which I would have, given that he didn't go on every single forum, trying to tarnish our reputation.

I want to help but I'm also questioning my own willingness to help others at this point. I shouldn't be so docile

He crossed every line in the book with regards to professionalism in this space but going to the daughter level, im impressed the restraint you have in this Mammoth, because im not sure i would. Ill leave that there as it is. Thats a line not to be crossed.

We may have had a little back and forth in the past but you've always been a stand up guy in my book, always been trustworthy and definitely dont deserve this sort of shit.

What a fucking goof. You handled it way more calmly than 99% of people would. Its shitty that someone would make a fake Matrix account to scam people but I guess when you're one of the top labs it happens.

Its always the buyers responsibility to check if they're contacting the correct seller. Especially since it's so easy to get a reps site/email verified if you just take a few fucking minutes to check.

I had a feeling there was more to this, and I knew there was an explanation. Thank you for taking the time @Mammoth. Always appreciate you dealing with these things right away, upfront, and honest.

Look, not saying you don't already know this, but you really need to lock down your opsec.

Stop checking your email from your home IP. Get a decent VPN. Or use LTE data. And for god's sake, please make sure your domain registration isn't leaking your home address.

Also don't talk to the blackmailer. At all. Don't feed into it. Every reply just gives them more leverage. Screenshot everything, save the messages, then go silent.

And I know it's tempting to pay, but seriously paying usually just makes them come back for more don't make it easy for these people to ruin your life over it.

Just wow.

I knew this fuckstick was out of sorts and the cause.

After locking through thread he was asked to provide how it got so escalated.

Big surprise....no answer. Gone dark. Seems like more and more of this kind of garbage happening these days. Both the fake websites and fuckbags expecting labs to cover their mistakes. Many labs step up, even when it's not their responsibility....I've seen it a lot over the years....but it should never be an expectation. Then this? Fuck.

In the meantime taureau and mammoth talk and the above comes out. Absolutely unreal.

Thank you @Mammoth for providing clarity and so much transparency....that couldn't be easy to share.

Absolutely scum of the earth. The rest of my thoughts are probably best left unsaid.

Whats the worst case scenario you have to change your website address and possibly lose buisness or can this guy expose you personally for who you really are? Id try to find a tech expert even if you have to pay and find out who this piece of shit is and where he is. I hate to say it but this shit comes with the territory. I hope you figure it out man.

Also just wanted to add.

You’re a PED vendor man. You need to have these precautions in place. Not because of fucking goofs like this, but because of the feds.

Dang @Mammoth I'm sorry to hear that. I've only had the opportunity to deal with you once, but you were very professional. It's absurd that you're being subjected to this guy's bullshit as a result of his own stupidity.

Yes.
And i suspect he also takes it up the ass.
possibly. If not I hope someone introduces him. Anyone who makes those kind of comments about someone’s mother/daughter/son etc deserves to get the same treatment.

1k dollars man, how many emails. Either lay off the pipe or get a diagnosis fucktard.
