Endotoxins in peptides

I recently decided to dip my toe into the peptides (just ordered a bottle of Reta and bpc-157). Have been reading some findings lately of peptides containing endotoxins and other contaminants.

I've seen some suppliers are lab testing for purity and quantity, but nothing for contaminants.

Wondering if this is something that's more prevalent than we're aware of, and if it's something to be concerned about.

Also wondering if there are any known vendors who do this kind of testing.

Opinions welcome.

As other things dry up and peptides start to become more popular which is happening as I write this, this question is important. There has been 15 years or more data/reviews on some labs to rely on, people's experiences, etc.
I don't see this as much with peptides. We have new peptide companies popping up showing they are 99% pure (whatever the peptide should be).
Of course there are Gov't warnings out about anything that isn't taxed, and I take their warnings for what they are - we do not know and who knows what you are injecting. If they ordered specific peptides, did tests, and published it through an independent third party I would say OK.

This is a concern - new peptide companies popping up with no reviews but great prices. Makes you wonder or I do anyway.
Endotoxins are no joke, but I consider the source. I will ask some of my doctor friends if they have access to testing any products for purity/contaminants. Not sure they want their name associated with tests, but there are some prominent power lifters in this Province who are GP's and specialists and they use peptides. I know as they are friends and great to chat with.
I know a generic lab at the hospital isn't going to test peptides.
Anyway - it is worth a deep dive into this with an independent third party determining the claims.

At the end of the day most of the raws, both peptides and AAS come out of China. So if toxins are a concern likely best to stick to Pharma.

Peptides should be available with a script in the next five to ten years in Canada.
