Ya @Bagua Interesting, never heard of it. Not sure about head- butts, think it would cause needless cuts? It do agree with the bare knuckles...it would force guys to use better technique punching.

There is a new Netflix show Fight World which has an episode about it. Check it out.
Cuts are part of the sport. It's those nasty eyebrow scars that are brutal. They open up so easy.
