Cycle question

I was just looking for advice on my current cycle, I am running test and primo currently and have just finished my 3rd week. I started this cycle pretty lean, inbody scan says 12% although I’m not certain on the accuracy of that. Test 400 primo 200 per week, and I was just wondering if it would be stupid to add NPP for 6/8 weeks to add some size then up the primo at the end of the cycle for the remainder to cut back down a little.

The only reason I ask is I have a full bottle of NPP on hand, and also ended up with caber and some other ancillaries I could use if needed.

Keep in mind I am kind of new to AAS so I apologize if this is a dumb ass questions.

Should I just keep on pushing the primo and test and leave the NPP for another cycle?

Thanks for any input.

Not a dumb question. Im in cruise mode now but last cycle my mind kept going the same way. Should I add something else to see if I get even more results. Now wishing I had just kept it simple. Im not as experienced as many of the fellas here. But Id say run the test and primo and save the npp for another cyle were you can plan it in. If your getting decent results just stick to the 2 compounds. That way you'll know how you gained on those so when adding or trying something next time you will be better able to pinpoint what is doing what👍. How long you plan this cycle to go for?

Thank you for the input!

I plan on running this cycle for 14 weeks, then I may cruise instead of pct like I have my first two cycles. I bounced back pretty well from the last two, but not sure I want to put my body through that again. Maybe I will just save the NPP, thanks again man!

This is my opinion.

Primo is best for cutting or recomp. You can starve yourself and maintain, or if you eat enough protein gain muscle in a deficit with primo.

NPP is more for bulking.

If you want more mass, stop the primo and run NPP. Save the primo for when you want to lean out.

You are only 3 weeks in. Run your cycle for 16 weeks.

As has been said - stay on the same road and finish the cycle. You are already in a supra physiological state with hormones for growth.
You mention being new and one of the benefits of Primo (and negatives) is you don't get a lot of mass, but it is still one of my favourite compounds. You are more apt to keep what you gain vs. taking something that will add a lot of water, put on size, PCT and unless you continue to train, eat, and do everything right - watch a lot of it disappear. You can't stay on forever and blasting and cruising is not a healthy option especially considering some of the cruise dosages people use.

5-10 lbs on a test/Primo cycle is great growth especially considering it should be lean growth.

If you are going to do another, which you most likely will, try test/NPP and keep a log of both cycles - what you gained (take pics too) and then compare a few months after you PCT or go back to TRT if you are prescribed TRT.

There is no need to keep adding more compounds, this is a slippery slope. You are already taking 600 mg and you mention being new to this. If you add in NPP at 200-300 mg a week, where do you go from here? You end up being under the impression you need to increase your amount each cycle which you absolutely do not. Take 6 months off cycles, do the same and I suspect your second will be better if you learned more about training, eating, rest, what exercises your body responds best to. People say you only have one first which is true, but knowledge about your body, what you respond to best with androgens, diet, how much time off is the best for your progress/avoiding injuries can make your second cycle on the same dosage/compounds just as good and most likely better.

Some are better than others but you can cut/bulk on any compound. Your diet will be the biggest factor. If you are going to start off right, do yourself a favour and concentrate on diet as much as the thought into which compounds. Even better, pay the small amount he charges and hire @Funnyman to help put a diet together to meet your goals.
Lots of great info here on diet, but you will learn a lot of long term knowledge if you hire him.

This is why I love this forum, I really appreciate your thoughtful and informative response!

This is my third cycle now, although I have been training consistently for a long time now. 6 years consistently, on and off for 5 years before that. My diet and routine is very solid in my opinion, I log all my training and track everything food wise. I will definitely leave the NPP for my next cycle, you make a really solid point about where do I go from here if I continue to add more and more.. it may become too much and unmanageable especially with what compound causes issues etc.

5-10 lbs is still a considerable amount of mass to be able to add, especially if I stay under 15% bf. I’m coming out of a heavy deficit starting this cycle, so I feel the primo will keep me happier physique wise during summer.

Again thank you very much for this response it really helps to hear stuff like this from somebody that knows what they are talking about. I will keep funnyman in mind for future cycles etc especially for my next bulk I would like to put on some serious mass without losing too much after PCT.
