Crypto help

Wait so if we are on crypto.com or shakepay and our Bitcoin is in that wallet that's not secure and should be put into another wallet?

Also, what do you guys think about Trump winning and how him and Elon plan on reppin' doge coin? Think it'll be a good quick on and out investment?
Did you get a 12 word seed for your wallet?

They aren't "reppin" doge coin

He is starting the Department of Government Efficiency. Just makes the acronym Doge

Idk what you mean by 12 word seed. 😅

Yea he's doing that but they are also endorsing doge coin, they have been pretty vocal about the apparent collapse of the American dollar because 33 trillion in debt blah blah, so they are pushing doge coin pretty heavy, they are even using the doge coin mascot in the Department of Government Efficiency... So whether it's another trick on not, they are trying to create a big push in value on the coin.

So if you don't have a 12 word seed phrase then it is not your wallet. You do not control the coins. You have to start your own wallet and self custody.

That's a start but it's still a hot wallet. If you have coin you are scared to lose than one should learn to use cold storage
Im so paranoid, I even worry about the cold wallets fucking up. Think of a usb stick that has an error or glitches. Maybe im too far gone. Is there any other way?

Trust wallet is very safe, they are owned by one of the biggest crypto exchanges in the world Binance …..no worry’s there

If people didn’t see the pyramid scam that FtX was doing , you could see it all on the blockchain explorer then it’s there fault.

Binance/Trust wallet is under very strict regulatory guidelines that have to be meet unlike FTX aswell as having one of the most if not the most capital in all exchanges worldwide.

To each there own what they want to do, cold wallet is definitely safer but when you want to sell at the peak of your target goal be ready for a very frustrating and long process. If you are holding long term with no target goals for taking profits cold is the way to go I agree.

Also if your comparing FtX to trust wallet it’s apples and oranges…..FTX is an exchange where you trade and sell your assets …trust wallet is a wallet for storage not a exchange , two completely different things. With the exchanges you don’t have a 12 word seed password. Trust wallet you do.

When using trust wallet you would have to send your crypto to an exchange like Newton/binace/kucoin/crypto.com to trade and sell your assets.

What is so frustrating and long about using a cold wallet?

I do use some hot wallets for day to day things. But to just trust all your crypto in one hot wallet is horrible advice if you are holding some serious funds.

What do u guys think of the crypto boom right now? You think it's worth it to buy more, or you think it's going to dip soon?

I have been taking some profits from the small coins and buying btc. I dont really plan on selling anytime soon. My dilemma is always, why sell the best asset class in the world? What am I going to replace it with?
