Conor Khabib

Conor's little show made me want to spank him and sit him down for a long time out at the kitchen table.

I'm not gonna be shocked if one day he is assassinated by someone from organized crime or a religious group.

It’s amazing how he’s gone from a sort mild mannered, all be it loud mouth to such a fucktard in a few years.

MMA has really become WWE, Connor is becoming a heal. What’s next fixed fights.

Yeah the schtick has gone too far... in the early days he was funny, now just annoying.

On the plus side I think he did make Khabib mad and I said before his ground and pound can boarder on violent. Karma?

Man it's all turning into wwe entertainment. Probably all a show to hype it up. But I agree, the money has now owned Connor and he acts totally different.

Conor might be on some non-prescription medicine from South America that comes in white powder form. He probably gets it by the brick, and it would explain his behavior.

He could afford it by the metric ton.I believe he doesn’t feel Khabib is worthy.

Conor seemed to be a different in this presser. His mouthiness seemed to be coming more from a place of fear than of confidence. Khabib kept it pretty cool tho.

As far as the fight itself, man it could honestly go either way. I give Khabib the better odds, but ...

Conor also seemed half-cut. Maybe thats the only way he could deal with the fear ... uhh, i mean stress ;)

After Khabibs fight with Iaquinta I believe Conor is convinced that Khabib is no match standing whatsoever. And the ground may be the complete reverse....Bars will be packed early.

Agreed, Khabib's ground game is nowhere near on par with Conor's. The big question is, can Khabib avoid the left and get the takedown.

I remember Javier Mendez (Khabib's coach) responding to the criticism after the Iaquinta fight. He pointed out that if Khabib were to stand and strike with Conor he would get destroyed. He went on to say that they're not foolish enough to try the same approach with Conor.

Mendez is a smart man, and Khabib has a lot of solid guys training with him at AKA. Luke Rockhold even returned to help Khabib prepare (as well as prepare for his fight with Weidman).

So I'm pretty sure they will have a solid game plan for dealing with Conor's striking. The question is: Will the game plan work?

Oct 6 we find out :)

Well that was a good card. And Kabib did exactly what he should have. Lewis entertained and Pettis/Fergison was war.

The whole brawl after was brutal and super bad for the sport but this was predicted all week. Dillion Danis is a complete punk but for Kabib to jump out of the cage and start fighting him in the crowd...It was totally Clubber Lang in Rocky 3.

Don't know what else to say.

Ya Khabib should of just acted honorable and how a champ should act. Completely foolish what happen after. I must say Conor did not look crisp at all. He looked worn down and tired even before he entered the ring.

Wonder whats going to happen next. Well the post conference should be on soon. Lets see what Dana says.

Ya staying up to watch press conference. Grappling for 15 straight minutes is exhausting. REMATCH will be next and it will be crazy.

Conor did better on the ground than I thought he would, but not as good standing....or Khabib’s head is very hard. All the Russians were in the bar.

Conor actually looked horrible on his feet. No jab, no foot movement, no head movement...he just wanted the one big shot. Khabib actually looked move technical standing and landed the cleaner shots.

I love that Khabib says Putin called him right after the fight and congratulated him...LOL

That was the first card I have paid to watch in ages...Money well spent. I enjoyed the card and found it highly entertaining.

It’s a shame Khabib lost his cool because other than for strictly financial reasons I see no reason to even consider a rematch at this point. I felt Khabib dominated Conor and other than a few minutes in the third had total control of the fight. But because of the BS at the end of the fight, a rematch will be on deck. It’s unfortunate because I would’ve liked to have seen Poirier vs Conor 2 and Khabib vs Tony instead.
