Ok so the original Robert Irvine protein bars were very good, using whey protein etc, but these new ones are AMAZING. Basically like a coffee crisp. Nice and light and crispy, not heavy like most bars.

Just thought I'd share.

Im not a huge complainer about additives if its in something thats a treat but for usual diet stuff it becomes risky. If I find something works for my diet I eat it every day and thats when the additives really start accumulating in your body. Especially common things you wouldn't think of like mayonnaise or ketchup.

Lol, those are absolutely terrible ingredients!!
There's a reason it tastes like coffee crisp....because it is....with a small add of low quality protein.

Hey if you like them....get after it....but if you feel you need to supplement with protein....even on the go....there are probably far better choices.

If it's your only vice and gets you through otherwise? Meh....no harm. Just be sure to understand that these things aren't great....use them for what they are.

@DeviousD i have to agree with you. I have yet to find a top notch protein Bar.

What about the David bar? I’m not buying no $7 protein bar, period and I generally don’t eat that stuff.
I just hear a lot of people hype that one up for how clean it is plus if I’m not mistaken it has a whole 30g protein.

I agree with Newf, theyre not the best ingredients for sure but if they're not goimg to kill you if you have ome now and then.
I would say your only guarantee for cleaner snacks is just to make your oen from scratch.

Daryl’s bars are the cleanest I have found. Especially the granola version
Daryl's bars look pretty decent! They're Canadian as well and available at the local SuoerStore.
The granola ones do look good to me and they're about 4 bucks a bar if you order off their website. Free shipping on one box of 12 even for $50 bucks
