Hmmm I normally buy 12 lb of Sirloin tip at a time, costs me about $72. Built a few connections working in restaurants for a long time. Here in Toronto, prices for any meat or fish is super pricey. Tho ive found a few places to get stuff like ground chicken for decent price.

Prices on hip cuts are climbing, tips were more than $6 a pound to buy last week. Load up if you cannot before the weather gets cold and the need for roasts increase.

Ya I got alot portioned out and in the freezer. I can get a pretty decent supply if need be, as my old boss gets it right from a butcher. He owns a Mexican restaurant so they go through alot of meats. But ya sometimes the price varies, but still decent compared to buying it in a big name grocery store.

That's a great price. is it already butchered or do you have to?

The bag I buy comes in thin slices. Kind of how I want it, as I use it for alot of asian style cooking. I can buy it in a huge slab too if I wanted.
