4 Tools I Use When My Anxiety Presents as Anger

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have given that dick head the finger for tailgating and flashing his high beams at me today🤔

I give them a thumbs up now. Seems to work better, lol.

I got that from a guy who did it to me and it pissed me off more. Sarcasm for the win, lol
THIS!

I try to simply put up one hand and let them interpret it as they will. Like a motionless wave, could mean "I hear you", "my bad" or "fuck you". Reactions vary lol.

No need for discussion of past loss of control :)

So staring and yelling at the idiot while punching my other hand like it's his face while directing him to pull over to settle things isn't a good idea anymore?

It takes alot to get me to that stage and I honestly try really hard but some people are such idiots that I can't understand. The drivers have gotten really bad and are so selfish now.

If it was me then I'd honestly just wave and apologize while being extra friendly and nice as it was "my bad" but these people do incredibly stupid and rude stuff and then they double down on it to make it like it's your fault which i just can't take usually.

I had people follow me until I got to a light or park (even with my family onboard) but they never want to get out from behind the steering wheel when it comes time. They are cowards who hide behind their car or truck usually.

Real men would know when they were dumb or wrong, be humble and try to make it cool again and I'm more than happy to see that and then it's all good.

I think I'll try the other methods mentioned above from now on. :D

Okay, now about other anxiety issues... For starters no Tren. and proper E levels probably help the most for me to begin with.

I'm in the GTA, it's almost always a pickup truck driver. I'm on the 407 during rush hour in the fast lane. Cars in front of me and to my right and buddy is on my ass like I can even move out of the way. 😐 I just slowed down and boxed him in and occasionally sped up then slowed down again lol. It fucks with them so bad.

Omg this one time I took tren and anadrol together lmao worst combination for traffic. It didnt make me angry it's more like being in cold calculated killer mode hahaha.

4 tools list:

Hammer
Pliers
Sawzall
Roll of poly and tape

But after i deal with the anger i get more anxiety and the cycle repeats itself. Feels like im living an episode of dexter every week. Its been years like this, maybe i should try a different strategy.

It seems to me that many pick-up truck drivers never get out of the left lane.

They seem to think they own it and will never budge. I have to pass them on the right after giving them lots of time and chances to move over all the time and then they get upset.

I also hate when rather then getting over they decide to brake check me even if I'm not even close. Just get over, it's easy. I do and am happy to. I then think of it as they can be my cover and draw out the radar traps, etc. instead so I don't mind at all and am even thankful - go ahead!

I know they aren't all like this and there are cool ones of course but it seems the majority of the worst offenders are often pick-up drivers.

I will continue to try to ignore this and stay calm. Ommmmmmm! :)☮️

Its one thing if someone is coming up fast behind me and I'm open to move over, I glady do it then join back in when those people are gone. But Jesus these trucks are on people's ass like they're a cop with lights on and you HAVE to get out of the way. I have a short fuse for people who think they can bully people.

All that said, at this point I'm taking the right lane for the most part, I'm not in a rush and I cant be bothered with these fucktards. I rather do that than get into it with someone, it's not worth it.

Wrong or right, I wave. If I get really pissed, I touch my cross hanging on my rear view mirror. Calms me down sometimes and it seem to calm them down, idk.

Too many people think they're good drivers. They're not. Too emotional and big ego. No skills, no poise. Overreacting like everything is life or death. I see a lot of bikers act that way too, which is ironic.

I don't road rage, it's stupid, but please, get the fuck out of the left lane. Even if you're going 15 over the limit. It's a passing lane. You pass, you merge to the right, until you need to pass again.
IDK where you live but GTA highways during rush hour there is effectively no passing lane lol.

I don’t get upset anymore. Just not worth it. Only time I get a bit pissed is when I’m on my bike and a person in a car does something so stupid they could potentially hurt me bad or kill me. Then those people usually have me screaming “pay attention, you could have hurt me bad”

Mind you I am very cautious on my bike, so far I have avoided accidents by being proactive in potentially bad situations.

And I know I make mistakes. Thats partly why I stopped being so judgemental.

I've had those moments where I don’t even realize anxiety is what’s firing me up until later. What helped me once was calling a therapy hotline just to talk it out with someone neutral—no pressure, no judgment. It surprised me how much lighter I felt after saying stuff out loud. Doesn’t fix everything, but it gets me out of my own head for a bit, which helps a lot.

I didn’t read the article so I don’t know if it deals strictly with driving, traffic, etc., but I find it interesting that all of the responses mention driving situations.

I’m usually pretty cool but something changes once I’m behind the wheel lol.

Tren and messed up E /prolactin levels certainly don’t help like @OntarioDude mentioned

And for the record: I love my pick up truck so you all can go $@&?! yourselves 😂

It depends on rest for me. If I am tired I have less pateance.

I find the most irritating is the one who crosses into my lane doing 10k less than I am with no shoulder check and no signal.

I have to resist the urge to aggressively pass and cut them off sharply! (I am pushing 500HP). Usually a simple task. They always have a dash cam!!

Truly I find its a 10 second difference in arrival time so who cares.

Try blowing them a kiss, short tempers love it..lol

They would probably interpret It like this:

And If in PQ, then:

gaboom-qc-fuck-you-1.gif
