2.5 Month Reta stall

That's an extremely successful 10 week diet phase.
There is always the option to take a few weeks at a maintenance and then restart.
I get it though, the draw to just push through and up the dose is no joke.

I was thinking about stopping completely for a few weeks to see if I can reset.

Mmmmmm yea...didn't think of that....
But not if you have a bit of will power…I mean your glycogen stores will get replenished and you might see a few pounds come back quick, but if you can keep the diet clean and stick to your schedule, you should be able to maintain easy enough.

Reta shouldn’t be a way to offset continuous bad choices and weak mindset, it should be a formal reset and a chance to make some serious momentum while rebuilding good habits.

Yeah that’s not how I see it, it’s a health benefit to so many health markers. My blood work, heart rate, blood pressure all moved to optimal levels on Reta. I think you should stay on at a low dose permanently imo. I don’t plan on coming off.

Thanks @RigPig for making that suggestion.

i never heard of changing inj sites making a difference....but I will try that...I have nothing to loose..
i've always rotated injection sites, left glute, right glute, left love handle, right love handle. did not go anywhere close to 6mg and made steady weight loss at 2mg

Thanks @Rhyno ..I'm proud of it..

Suggesting a low maintenance dose for a few weeks is a very good idea -hadn't thought of that..

I went up and down with dose over about 8 months and lost 50+ lbs. 2mg lowest and 4mg was the highest. Now I am back at 4mg. Went on 2mg Reta/2mg Tirz for about a month or so to throw in a change up.

Responding a bit better again to the Reta. I would say you still need to be in a deficit to see results after being on Reta for a long period.

I most likely will get down to 2mg again for maintenance.

That's a great run for 50lb - congrats !!!

I've read alot of people use Tirz to assist the process. It's on my list of things to try

I haven’t so much as had a bite of any junk food in any way since being on Reta. I’m operating at the most flawless level I ever had. It is exciting to imagine in the near future where I do a serious cycle again. I’m methodical, everything I do or eat is for purpose.
Good to see you you mention this as well @Redz - no junk food and a strict diet. Reta makes it easier but still takes willpower and the combo works well at dropping BF. I couldn't agree more - TRT, few healing peptides and a low dose of Reta - it is impressive what you can accomplish with a consistent diet/training/rest schedule (Reta helps but is just one factor). I can't imagine what you could do if you were doing a serious cycle like the ones I read, and I live vicarously through now lol. My increase from 100 mg to 250 mg of test would be my massive cycle which is less than a lot of people cruise on. I went from around 232 to 215 over several months.

The key comment is everything you eat is with a purpose. I even went as far as adding in a quality digestive enzyme, prebiotics and probiotics daily. It is weird losing weight and having people ask you what you are doing to grow. Didnt actually grow - just lower BF, more vascular, more seperations/lines, etc.
I think @storman mentioned this above as well but I second the comment. It makes no difference if I eat 4 or 6 times a day, each meal is balanced and at the end of the day I ensure I hit my macros and calorie count.
I did get up to 2mg but settled back on the long road with 1 mg a week and the main reason for taking it was an experiment, confirmed with ultrasound to clear the last of the liver fat brought on by a virus that attacked my liver. The additional BF loss was a bonus.

@Goldenrod - was it your post a while back that was talking about your nafld that you were trying to get cleared up ? or was this another member ??

It was most likely me as most people don't know they have it and I know I do. Mono can attack your liver, much to my surprise, and in my situation it did and made my liver very unhappy. I felt fine, but it was caught on my yearly physical's blood tests.
One year later, after being monitored by a Gastroenterologist, they did an ultrasound and compared it to one I had done years prior and I had minor fatty liver, then it changed to mild/medium fatty liver by the next year. I tried to stop the progression with supplements and get my GGT normal again. All my other markers were fine, but my GGT was always high. I was not any PED's at the time between the first and second ultrasound.
I was able to get my enzymes under control and NAFL back to mild but after a recent ultrasound and a copy of the ultrasound as I paid for it, I found out it was still mild, hence the Reta to see if I can get it cleared up as GLP-1 agonists may be the first 'medical' treatment.
There is article I never posted but again, much to my surprise there is something in tomatoes that helps rid the liver of fat. People who ate tomatoes regularly had regression in the disease. It is on medical news today.

With all the recent posts on transient liver enzymes being high lately, I was preparing another liver protection post but have been low on time plus much is just a repeat of old posts, trial and error, info I have read, and information from other members that are friends who also have the same issue/tried different protocols.
Much to my surprise there is a peptide that always lowered my liver enzymes as well. I am waiting for a Gov't paid for ultrasound to see if the Reta rid my liver of the last of the fatty deposits.
