Thermos to me implies a coffee/tea type thermos. IF this is what you mean, buy a Stanely. They are still all metal made and work great. Costco sells them cheap

God I love companies like Stanley who still make quality products and don't charge a million dollars..

Father in law still has his Stanley thermos he bought 30 years ago when he started driving a logging truck. No paint left on it and dented all over, but still works better then the rest.
My brother is using my father thermos and lunch box, both made by stanley. They're both 20 y/o over and doing what's suposed to do.
Not sure your setup for work but I've seen some guys using those heater lunch boxes it's like a little mini oven lunch box, I've personally never used one but the boys at work give me two thumbs up, also I've seen guys bring mini slow cookers to work for heating food. In winter times I've heated food on the dash heater, make a little oven over your food and heat for a couple hours works half decent.
