The Wife’s TRT Journey

Hey, I thought I would post this here instead of the Dracorex lab review thread(which is where I think I mentioned it before).

My wife is on HRT with her GP and of course they won’t go anywhere near women’s testosterone treatment. So we have an ND to monitor her self directed protocol. Even with low low test levels and a host of symptoms her GP is not interested. The ND can’t prescribe it but can review labs with her from a harm reduction standpoint (the same relationship I have with my ND). The ND is much more aware of the benefits of women’s testosterone treatment and will order the testing.

She started with 2mg weekly split over two injections. She will run this for a month or so, get some labs done and see if it moves the needle and by how much. She will titrate accordingly.

I will update her progress then. If anyone has any experience in this department please post here. There is not too much available online for info compared to men’s TRT.

Currently using Draco/ME2 25mg/ml testosterone enanthate. 2 shots of 1mg (4 units in a slin pin) Sunday/Thursday. For replacement, versus bodybuilding, it looks like 5mg per week is pretty standard. She is looking to get at the top of range in general, 50-70 ng/dl.

Check out Coryfit on YouTube she's got a lot of videos on women's peds use and starting doses and what not. The GF loves watching her stuff. She actually picked out her cycle by watching her vids. 2.5mg of test per week with 10mg of primo. I think 100ng/dl is the top of the reference range according to Coryfit. I did mention for her to get blood work done first before I get her anything 😂

Nice stuff. My wife is also on this journey and just quit science and humans to start with an ND. She hopes to get better results
Now.

25mg test per week for a female is actually pretty high believe it or not from a standard practice. I agree it's probably in the right ball park for athlete optimization though.

I have seen some doctors prescribe 5-10mg per week. Actually saw one script for 25mg per month enanthane with a once monthly injection from a general practitioner. They really have no idea how to handle this subject it's not taught.

I would recommend pairing it with dhea and pregnenolone if you're treating menopause and it's long term HRT. You'll need less test overall reducing the potential side effect profile.

The last protocol I saw started at 5mg weekly after 8 weeks went to 10mg. The lady was mid 50 year old, this put her right in the center for blood work and I haven't seen her blood work since the dose increase. Trial and error with active monitoring

25 mg per ml is the testosterone blend, Women’s testosterone. 4 units on an insulin syringe is 1mg dose. 2 shots per week for 2mg.

*edit: I would not recommend 25mg per week to my wife or any other woman. That would be disastrous for my non-lifting super mom.
