Looking to start my first cycle of test

Heya @goose
I'm with @RigPig on considering waiting on the cycle. At your body fat % it's not a good idea and getting the assistance of an endocrinologist is invaluable if you're concerned and sold on trt for life. You're young and who knows what might be in store for you.
While it's not impossible to self administer trt, I did it for a few years, it's not ideal. I decided to take the time required to work with a specialist and am now under their supervision. I was way off on what I thought was an appropriate dose as well. It's all so individual and the numbers we see thrown around are guesses at best.
If you're not in a rush it will prove to be worth the effort. Take this time to address your nutrition and get that body fat down and before you know it you'll be good to go.
Well as i said in my other post im not only a fatty but a retard as well..

Took everything you and @RigPig said and decided to wait till i see the doctor...

And then buddy (only guy i know on aas) came over to smoke some joints...

Guy convinced me with chatgpt and google that my test lvls were dangerously low and i ended up pinning 60 mg of test E 400 last night.

Retarded as fuck ya i know- as i said im a retarded fat POS.

So how fucked is this gonna be for me?

Buddy gave me novidex in case i get spicy nips lol..

You may have to wait a fair bit to see a doctor now. Test 400 usually has and undecanoate ester( very long half life), so it will stay in your system for a long while. Other guys here know a lot more and may be able to help you better.

No offense but your friend is a douche bag and by the sounds of his " advice " probably shouldn't be on gear either.
Its only 60 mgs, just consider it wasted.
And in case you were not aware of it, you will want to ensure your natural levels are left alone for your blood work and Endo visits.

Not recommended for me to just tell the doc that i saw my test lvls and self medicated?

As i said in one of my other posts i dont have much choice on a doc as i live in a tiny town, but my doctors office has a 2 star rating so it doesnt instill much confidence. Also think the guys a tard but takes one to know one so.

Lmao yeah not offended at all.

Whats an endo/more bloods gonna tell me that would change me doing T?

So you wouldn't recommend just continuing on and telling em that i did it?

You would consider 210 a cycle? I swear everyone cruises at 200-250
I actually made that post that way to stir up some discussion or at least to get goose thinking. As an alternative to how I often go all Dad Mode with the "I think you should do some more reading before you dive in" message. I'm all for informed action but I'll admit I get overly concerned about the casual attitude people take about this stuff. These are real drugs. IRL I get approached by noobs around weekly and more often than not it's after they are in some kind of trouble rather than before they start. Gyno, ED, emotional issues, trouble pissing, hair falling out, can't breath, heart feels funny or whatever. It especially bothers me when it's a young guy.
I don't want to feel like I'm lecturing anybody here but in real life I've blasted a few dumbass kids pretty hard.

Anyhow to answer your question, yes. TRT is one thing and the R for replacement is what defines it. Is it being used to fulfill a medical need or for another reason? Rare is the guy who actually needs more than about 150 or so to fulfill that actual need for Testosterone for proper bodily functions.

If somebody "feels best" on more that's cool but lets call it what it is. In the old days it was called a cycle. At some point new terms started to get used and often they are just an excuse to minimize the benefit gotten. Most guys used to come completely off. First term I remember getting thrown around was Bridge. "Ya I'm off, just doing a little bridge til I get back on bro".
Cruise, TRT+, Sports TRT etc. Don't get me wrong, I don't really give a shit and it's just words and we have to describe it somehow. But yer either crankin or your not, you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

First off thanks so much for your detailed reply i appreciate it.

Initially my thoughts were to get on the upper edge of "normal" but then got my bloods back and i guess its actually for medical lol

I'm not riding your ass here bud, legit questions I'd ask anyone. Feel free to ignore me or tell me to fuck off if you like, politely if so please.
Can i TRT myself? I guess thats kinda close to what i was planning to do initially (200 mg a week was what the plan was). I was planning on probably doing it forever (before i saw my lab results) so now thats definitely more of a certainty. I dont have insurance or anything of the sort so was planning to kinda self medicate lol
Why not try to figure out why it is low and then fixing the root of the issue first?

Interesting, just to be sure you are on the right track math wise what kind of syringe did you use and what level did you fill it to?

Fuck dude, no i appreciate it a ton 100%.

Definitely hope to figure out why its so low and can see the obvious "figure out why then fix it" not "throw bandaid on and maybe figure out why after" just wasn't really thinking it would matter (or thinking much at all- smoked 3 cannons in a short time) and just kinda went "ya that makes sense" to buddys thesis.

So the test i have is Test E 400, i used a 30 gauge 5/16" 1ML slinpin @15 units (.15 ml) and poked it in my rear delt. Im hoping the math was correct that that should be 60 mg but im assuming theres probably some left in the needle portion so must be slightly less?

Lots of good insights here already. Take some if the fellas advice. Go talk to a doc about trt. Depending on what province your in some trt clinics can be accessed online and they send you to your local lab for blood work. If your local doc will prescribe than thats a better option but if not look for other trt clinics. But also discuss with your doc what he thinks is going on. Between the low T and high Body fat my god man you cannot be feeling great. Whatever you choose I hope you find a way to get feeling healthy. 👍👍

I appreciate you taking it the right way, I'm starting to feel like a grumpy old asshole a lot lately. I think that's mostly because I'm kind of a grumpy asshole and I'm getting old. Yep math is good, sometimes it gets a bit dazzling at first.

If you're going to continue to self administer, don't waste your or the Endocrinologists time. You can't expect an endo to be able to help you determine your needs for trt if your taking gear. That's a good way to lose them as a Dr.
The idea is to stay natural, get help from a Dr and try to determine why you're low, address what can be helped and then work on determining what dose puts you in a good spot, both on paper and symptom wise. Treating the numbers is not how you address low t. You want a Dr that takes your QOL into account.

Definitely havent felt too great in a few years now, hence why when i saw my test levels i was happy to jump in guns blazing.

That said i dont feel as bad as some the guys ive seen here mention- im a big outdoorsman and spend alot of time solo hiking/fishing and the sorts (been doing a 10-15km "moderate" trailhike weekly plus working out for months no issues.

Put my physique down below in case that can help with any judgment calls.

Honestly its more so i have little faith in my doctor or doctors in general due to complications due to malpractice that happened when i broke my back.

This was my first blood test in 7 years (since my accident) and have always distrusted docs since.

Probably not a healthy way to be lmao, as i said im a fat retard.

what advice would you give on me finding a good doctor? The online clinics i looked at were hella pricey and frankly out of what i can afford unless i save up for one for a couple weeks/ a month.

My doc visits are covered under alberta health care but i dont believe they cover the other clinics.

When you say "the idea is to stay natural" have i not already crossed a metaphorical point of no return in that aspect since i pinned last night?

Yeah I agree with what your saying, but bigger guys who’ve ran more advanced cycles probably need more than just “trt” doses to maintain what they’ve built, I do agree that there’s a very fine line between a cruise and a blast and the dosages that differentiate them, but I’m a firm believer that you can run up to 250 test indefinitely as long as your blood work is good and heart is healthy.

Yes, you have given up your natty card but I am referring to staying off any anabolics until you get your situation worked out with your dr.
If you , for example , stay on your 60 mgs and then try to determine what you require for dosing would be near impossible. And there is a chance that your doctor would drop you if he found out. I've heard nightmare stories of guys trying to game the process and ended up losing their doctor and prescription.

In terms of your doctor, that comes down you your preference and " luck " on finding the assistance. You could talk to your GP , they might be willing to help you. My own GP agreed to provide me with the blood work but refused to offer any care outside that. I since opted to pay the difference and go the private clinic route. It was pricey at first but once things were established I can now get a vial for cheap.
