Did some blood work through teletest.ca - which I think is only available in BC and Ontario right now. But it was seamless. You can pretty much pick what markers you want and there's no obligation to speak to a doctor before or after.

They just send you the req and you do with it as you want.

Damn I wish they had something similar in alberta. Here no private labs and everything ends up on the provincial online system.

Teletest also offers ECGs, which you should get now and then. My last one found possible LVH, and that resulted in my getting a much more comprehensive ultrasound etc (and everything is fine) which was something a regular Dr. wouldn't normally put on a blood test. However, we know we do PEDs and an ECG is a good idea every few years at least. ECGs are done right in the bloodwork clinic, or at least most clinics, check of course.

No, I don't know if they do. They are expanding with some referral services though, so it's worth it to ask..
