Does anyone backload insulin syringes with their trt and stock them a few at a time?

I use the 1cc pins, i draw with a 23g and pin with the 27g 1/2 inch needle. So no need to backfill, store, preload, etc

Why do folks use all in one insulin pins?
I don't backload, I wrap vial in an electric heating pad and leave it for a while then load slinpin in regular fashion, un plug the pad and wipe of the vial while the oil cools for a minute then inject, 80 bucks a year, I get sushi with the other 120

It’s easier to push the oil thru a 1 cc syringe. There is physics at play, since the plunger is 1/3 the size of a 3cc plunger it takes lets say 1/3rd the effort to push the oil thru a small gauge needle. This way I can use 30 gauge needles.

Plus it’s a joke to backload. I use a normal 3cc syringe with a 20 gauge pin and pull up the oil, then yank out the plunger, and backload the amount I need.

I hang the plunger off the edge of the counter so it doesn’t touch anything.

Never had an infection from doing this, shit I even use the same 3 cc syringe until the numbers rub off, so like 3 or so months.

I am sterile and use a clean working area.

I have been injecting daily for 5 months now, plus my 2 times a week for test.

I don’t mind preloading. I don’t preload my tb/bpc/ copper/ gh because I draw that all at once in the same insulin syringe and inject right away, but I don’t know, it’s fun to be lazy to not have to load a syringe when you have to do a normal test injection. This way I can toss the insulin syringe into the top drawer in my bathroom the night before. Then when I crawl out of bed and shower, I can inject right out of the shower when I am really clean and not have to worry about loading anything first. 5 am is early, I don’t feel like loading a syringe at that time, lol.

Honestly, I am never lazy, this is one of the only things I am lazy at, and I enjoy it, 🤣

I have in the past but currently no. Only partially for the following reason but something I thought I would mention - How you store them if you do keep them for a while. I'd do it opposite of @Rhyno , so pin down and here is why.

A few years back another member did an experiment. Loaded a slinpin with Test E and let it sit after I think around 3 weeks it had compromised the rubber plunger enough that it turned the liquid cloudy grey. Now for sure that could have been a unique set of circumstances with regard to solvents or something but I'm fairly certain the slinpin was a B&D 1cc 28g, Pretty standard materials I'd guess.

Unique or not it opened my eyes to the possibility and I've never been able to get the image out of my head so now if I do it they get stored pin down with an air gap at the plunger, never have a problem with leakage, store in a cool place. Someone could do a similar experiment but it probably wouldn't sway me unless it was absolutely clear for months, I'd think it always would be leaching a little bit. A week wouldn't worry me right now though.

Funny story- Went travelling while on cycle some years back. 3 week trip, big cycle for me so preloaded 21+ of those same slinpins near full so I could use them quickly and indiscreetly at destination. Packed them meticulously, Needle down , bunch of bundles of bubble wrap then into a protein container. Confidently put them in my carry on with stuff packed around the container to be sure it would stay upright.
Well the last leg of the trip was an hour or more in a very small plane in rough weather, it was like a roller coaster ride in a paint shaker. Upon sneaking away from prying eyes at destination and opening the container I had the unpleasant surprise of a lot of bubble wrap covered in that sweet oil. A little goes a long way so thankfully not that much actually came out of the syringes but dealing with the mess at a sparsely stocked remote location was a chore.
As they say in Minnesota "live and lear".

I remember that one, those plunger went really bad when we did the test!!!
Since that experiment aint no way i'm letting oil in there touching the rubber more than a day or two, if i prepare for longer period of time, i do the exact same thing!!

When i saw the thread i was curious if people remind the test we did!

I like the 27g 1/2 these days. I been doing EOD so i just load it per day.

They say frequency should lower hematocrite but I’ve never see it do anything dramatic
I do exactly the same. I do my delts etc with this size pin, I consider it a shallow IM shot. Usually anything under 0.5ml a shot is going to be good to go with a shallow IM with a 1/2 inch needle.

Do you have a link to this test - would love to see it!
