First cycle for cutting advice

Hi, I am 24 and I am thinking about running a short cycle to cut down on fat. I already like the amount of lean mass I carry and i am not looking to put on more. I am just looking to preserve my lean mass while running an agressive deficit. What I was thinking about doing is doing 8 weeks of TRT dose test + anavar. I want to go down from 20% bodyfat to 10-12%

Any advice ?

At 20% body fat you shouldn’t be looking at steroids. Should look at nutrition and training to start. Maybe some Reta to help but definitely not hop on until you get leaner

If you’re gonna take at cycle at 24, take a real cycle. No reason to use TRT with presumably sufficient test levels naturally.
My reasoning for TRT levels of test is that I want to minimize side effects and I don't necessarily want to put on a ton of mass. Enough test to preserve my lean mass while cutting aggressively so maybe 150mg a week

Don’t worry brother you’re not going to accidentally put on too much mass lol. Especially in a deficit.

Do you understand the flaw in your logic here? Suppressing your natural testosterone levels to use a replacement dose that will likely be marginally higher than your natural levels?

Cutting fat is a matter of diet, not drugs. At 20% bf, you'd be better of working on your diet for a bit first. If your only taking a replacement dose your confused on how the hormone works on the body. It would be like slashing your own tires and then trying to fill them with air.

On top of what everyone else already said I'd ask why do you want to disrupt your hormonal system for such slim benefits.
IOW the risk/reward ratio and cost/benefit analysis math says NO.

Cut calories marginally and include heavy lifting in your physical activity or
Well we all know another path

Is this your first cycle? You are not going to lose 8-10% BF in 2 months due to adding in low dose test and oxandrolone, or even an aggressive deficit - if you want to keep it. You can starve yourself and lose fat and muscle, but it is not sustainable.
If you do and you don't change your day to day diet, training, rest, etc. you will just gain it back plus 10% BF in 2 months is not a reasonable goal for the average person. Some people getting ready for the stage use a plethora of compounds to dry out / drop fat, but most did this over a prolonged planned system and with the advice of a coach.
You are 24, did you get your hormones tested? No sense in saying anything else without more info.
Good luck whatever you do.

You could do this without drugs.
Just make small change to your diet and after 3 -4 months you will be leaner. And you will maintain what you have.

For example, stop eating snack foods between meals.

As a guy with a big appetite ive always struggled with cutting. I can tell you after years of trying every magic pill and diet the only thing really works and is sustainable is counting every calorie and being active. You cant outwork a shitty diet or take anything that will "melt fat" off you, be disciplined, motivated and dedicated.

If you are going to be in an “aggressive deficit” like you stated the testosterone amount isn’t going to really dictate whether you pack on mass or not. No disrespect intended but you seem confused on how to build muscle and lose fat. The old adage of calories in calories out still rings true all these years later.

I’d say you have a couple of options in front of you if you want to achieve your goals.

Option 1- contact @Funnyman and hire him to dial in your diet. At 24 yrs old you have a long way to go in this game. Why not invest in yourself and learn how to eat properly? Let @Funnyman show you the ropes.

Option 2- do as you planned and see if you can do it. If I was a betting man I’d wager you don’t succeed and end up in worse shape than you started in.

It’s your body and your life, do as you wish. I guarantee you will spend more money on supplements and gear and still be spinning your wheels than you would hiring @Funnyman.

If it isn’t obvious yet I would personally go with option 1.
Good luck.

I doubt you will lose muscle with a proper deficit with good nutrition, rest etc. So no need for this cycle to do this. I will say however that the cycle you proposed is acceptable if you want to do something.

I respectfully disagree with the the idea that taking so litte is not worth it while taking more is better. Will it generate huge results? Probably not, but "TRT+" is what you're talking about doing. Many do that sort of thing and like the results. 125-150mg of test e + 20-40mg of anavar is pretty typical for a "boost" even on this forum.

Another route is enclomiphene and or/HCG + an oral to get your feet wet and/ or satisfy your curiosity. It's low commitment and it's easy to recover from as enclomiphene or clomid prevents shutdown on something like this. You satisfy keeping your natural test level (or even boosting it) while using the oral. No need to potentially spending months recovering from a cycle with injectables just to get the experience.

Even the oral on it's own is typically not hard to recover from as it's in and out quickly. OTC test boosters work well for a PCT from this as well.

Yep, 175 mg a week of test, you can do really well on. That is still far more than natural and there is essentially no side effects except the extra recovery.

Thinking about doing this route to dabble with Orals (anavar + enclo). What dose would you say would be marginally best for the anavar? I'm thinking either 20 or 40.

15-20mg is solid. I didn't use it much but as it gives me he heartburn over 10mg.

I'm not sure where 40mg came from. Personally I think that's excessive.

Can i expect to gain a decent amount of lean tissue? Honestly thsi might be stupid but i’m split between trying this or RAD-140 at 10mg. Both have similar side effects but RAD seems to be more anabolic and potent.

I have no idea how much you can gain tbh, no one does as there's too many variables. Pick one and see how you do.

I'm not a fan of SARMs as they're basically failed medications with hardly any data on them.

Yeah that’s true. Have you ran the anavar + serm before and what was ur experience?
