Hi,

I am on my 4th week (first cycle) and I have watched IM injection videos and followed the instructions.

See the picture showing where I usually injecte. (my drawing skills are very limited)

I always pull back on the plunger once the needle is inserted to check for blood.

On my 4th or 5th injection, I hit a vein. I didn’t notice any blood in the syringe, but a few seconds after the injection I started coughing intensely (felt like I was dying).

Today, when I injected, I pulled back and saw blood. I changed the syringe position, but I think I injected into a vein again.

1. If you inject into a vein, is the product lost? Is it like you didn’t inject at all?

2. If there is blood, should I just withdraw and inject in another spot? What about the syringe and the blood in the needle— is it still safe to use?

1. I dont know for sure but im sure ive done it multiple times in my years of use because im lazy and dont aspirate anymore. Never noticed a drop in my feeling of levels or performance so i dont think its a loss. Not sure the physiological health effects of this either. Is it worse on the liver lets say or kidneys? I would think the fat still gets absorbed and the steroids too. Curious what the more knowledgable on this subject would say. As long its a small amount i dont think its the end of the world but.... 1000014658.jpg
I dont see how the ester wouldnt matter anymore though a cause immidiate effects. Unless it TNE or suspension maybe. Again dont know enough.

2.if there is blood when u aspirate just move locations and pin again. Of course swab first unless it already swabbed and u move over just a touch. The blood is yours and not contaminated so its fine and will be reabsorded.

Looks like you have tren cough.

Tren cough is most common when injecting tren. However it can happen with other aas

So no worries you will live.

Google tren cough for more information or someone here can explain tren cough
 
They don’t aspirate IM injections in the hospital. It’s not best practice anymore. I used to back in the day, but I never bother anymore.

The vasculature in the muscle itself is made of small capillaries. There are no large veins or arteries in the muscle.

People have a hard enough time finding veins for IV’s.

It is not Tren.
I injecte 1 ml of Test E and 1 ml of Deca twice a week.

Yes, I have done some research, and it says that if this happens frequently, it may have an impact on the lungs and heart. However, I couldn’t find any information on whether the steroids would not be absorbed or if their effects would be reduced.

In this case, how do you inject? I believe I am injecting in the proper spot. If not, is there an area in the upper cheek that should be avoided? Are there areas with fewer veins?
Is injecting lower in the cheek is fine top ?

Pulling back on the plunger can also tell you if you have an oil abscess forming.So you pull back and you see the syringe filling up with redish grey stuff ,you better stop asap.So yes, it's a very good idea to always aspirate believe me.

Spotinjections.com still exists. Lol, thats from wayyyyy back forums. Anyways u can start there.
The locations best for you, you will learn over time. Where your pinning is the easiest place to start off with. Of you go lower on your glutes dont use 1.5inch pins is my advice though.

I checked the Web. I am injecting in the proper area.
 
ventroglutes are easy, the little fist sized ball of muscle when you flex it on the side but towards back of hip. shoulder are easy too if you can hit one of the muscles there properly without going between them. You can do these with a 1” or even a half inch which would be shallow im i guess depending how lean you are.
 
You will be fine. I have had that happen a few times when I injected intramuscular with test e. It will work the same either way. You’ll get your dose of test in, its not wasted.

I have never had that happen again since I switched to sub q, don’t even get the tren cough.

Btw, like how you drew a dick on your pick, lol.

I tried in the shoulders and it was fine :)

1. If you are following good hygiene protocols and you have a reputable brand - the odds of infection are low. TRT and other injections over a decade and never had an infection. Knock on wood.
2. I had the strange feeling and minor cough, not from tren, from any AAS such as test/primo, but it passed quickly.
3. Move where you are injecting. Couple places that are easy - shoulders, all muscle and I never pull back on the syringe because at the ER and the nurses I know never do/indicate they are instructed not to. If I had an absess (@OhBoy - man that is a lot of blood/junk you hauled out - did it heal up on it's own once you pulled out as much as possible?), I would be at the docs getting it lanced and cleaned (many may treat it themselves, but I would not). Ventro glutes seem to have less veins and there is zero pain, I use 11/2 inch needles for shoulders and everywhere on my glutes. Your picture is where everyone started injecting years ago or many did, but it has changed over the years. One place few do, and the only reason I have been told is it might hit your sciatic nerve, but I inject lower and there is zero pain, and I never have any blood or oil leak out. On the blood topic, periodically a little bit will come out and you potentially a small amount of the PED. Shoulders - if you are larger you can inject high, medium or low just above the bicep - that is 6 places on your shoulders. I stopped injecting where you do so I use ventro glutes and if your have larger glute muscles you can find two spots on the ventro glute area and I don't understand why people don't inject low on the glutes, just above your hams. It is below any nerves, zero pain, never once had blood / any compound come back up.
4. No, if you hit a vein the PED is not waisted, it won't all go into your blood stream immediately and get used, some may hence the cough, but I suspect a lot is absorbed into the muscle/any fat in the area and then slowly absorbed based on the ester and carrier oil.
5. If I did pull back and got a little blood in the needle, which I never do anyway, but it does not destroy the steroid. As long as it was a clean injection, and you swab another area, I would change the tip for a new one and inject again.

These are just my opinions, didn't read everything above, but I see a lot of smart guys commented who have a lot of experience.
Change where you inject if this happened twice and I am sure you will be fine. Just make sure you are very careful with hygiene as you don't want to deal with infections / abscesses like @OhBoy did.
