Curious if anyone is using these to keep their gut healthy and operating optimally? Currently sitting on some of both looking to implement it but I’m unsure about dosing protocols.

Anyone willing to share experiences and dosing protocols?

I'm not studied on many pep particulars, especially with regard to orals but I would question the effectiveness of any of them orally with the possible exception of BPC-157. Wouldn't they be savaged in the gut before they could do anything?

Inyried oral bpc and didn't get much of anything from it.
Also seen videos of Dr Trevor Bachmeyer explain how oral peptide do not work.
I'm not well versed on the topic but as far as I understand, since BPC is naturally occurring in the gut, its more bioavailable orally? I may be way off with that one though.

I tried oral bpc for intestinal health and found it to have no significant impact for me good or bad.
Did you implement it to address a particular issue or was it more prophylactic/hoping to "optimize" digestion, etc?
What was your dosing protocol?

I've been consuming some content from AJ Simms who is one of the "leaders" in gut health optimization in the bodybuilding world. He claims profound benefits from BPC/KPV for compromised digestive systems that have been damaged by micro-nutrient lacking bodybuilding diets and PED abuse. Frankly, an environment I'm exposing myself to at the moment.

I have 100 caps of BPC 500mcg & 100 caps of BPC/KPV 500/500mcg. I'm gonna add one of each in on an empty stomach which will be a roughly 3 month protocol.

This was my thought as well.
AJ Simms is a great coach. I've watched him since his " carrot cake technology" 😄
Has your digestion taken that serious of a hit in the last couple weeks?

To address a mild IBD flare up issue.
If i recall correctly i used 500mg twice per day for 2 months. It was the dose that was recommended for this type of issue based on studies i believe.
I am very sensitive and aware of changes to bowels due to my illness. Unfortunately the hope i had from researching the product studied to have been taken for these issues quickly faded once i found it to have no significant effects.

Yeah some pretty gnarly constipation mostly. I’ve been meaning to update my log but we made some adjustments to my diet bringing fiber up pretty significantly. So far seeing positive results. Although I think a lot of the irregularity has to do with stress and what not..

Even injectable BPC157 will help your stomach. I get the whole concept of it has to go through my digestive system if taken orally, but from my experience injectable forms of BPC157/TB500 or any peptide for that matter is much better in injection form. It will get into your blood circulatory system and find its way to your stomach as well. So many people have different opinions. Considering it is logical what BPC157 is mimicking, it makes sense that if any would work orally - that would be the one, but I don't think it is near as good as the injectable form.

500 mcg's of both per day once a day for maintenance if no injuries / real reasons to take it for 2 months. Just to prevent issues. 1000 mcg's / 1 mg of each per day if dealing with an injury or stomach issue. After I start to feel better, I keep the BPC157 the same at 1 mg per day, but cut down the TB500 by 1 mg per week until I am not taking any. When down to no TB500, I stop the BPC157 and by this time I know if it is doing what I hoped it would.
It is expensive, but if you are getting legit peptides, I suspect one of the reasons they don't work is because people don't take enough.

Just my experiences - doesn't mean they are right.
Good luck.

Are you hungry and using the fiber to keep you full ? Are you still on the reta ? That big increase in fiber along with the slower gastric emptying from reta might be something to watch. I'm sure you coach is aware.
Didn you increase your water along with the increase in fiber?
Are you waking up with a hard stomach/intestine?
Yeah, stress could very well be adding to the issue. I've seen it hold lbs of water on people.

I just updated my log, might be worth reading incase i miss anything here.

Appetite isnt an issue. Food has remained quite high throughout the entire prep. Generally speaking, I'm not someone who is phased by hunger signaling in general though. Whether im eating alot or a little, it remains manageable.

In terms of fiber intake up until this week, I was eating a moderate(?) amount of veg. 50-100g per meal in 4-5 meals. So in other words, not an excessive amount and also not neglected.

Last reta shot was approximately 6 days ago. Given it's half life I assume there is still some running through my system, but should nearly be out now.

Water has remained the same at around 8L a day.

On days where I was really getting backed up, yes I was waking up with a hard/bloated/distended lower intestine. I could most definitely feel the food building up and getting backed up.

On a final note, I've been adding ~20g sauerkraut with all my meat meals and I believe its improved motility.
