UFC 229

That fight all depends on which version of Woodley shows up. He use to enjoy watching him. But I couldnt care less now. Hes had some rather awful fights where he was just off completely

Part of me wonders if he's just too focussed on not losing his belt. Sometimes a dynamic and risk-taking fighter wins a belt, and then changes his whole style in order to avoid any risk of losing. At times it looks like Woodley has taken this path.

When he fought Maia, he didn't seem to be trying to win, he just looked as if he was trying not to lose. Same with his fights against Wonderboy. It was a huge difference from the Tyron Woodley who went out swinging for Lawler and won the belt.

I don't know whats up with him, lol

I totally agree...the Maia fight was brutalllll. I was at his fight with Jake Shields a few years ago and it was one of the worst, no action, pushing against the fence fights i have ever seen. When he looks good (like against Robbie) he looks formidable but when he just plays it safe he is one of the worst to watch.

Absolutely. You know, now that I think about it, he's only really had 2 or 3 impressive KOs that I can think of. Lawler, Josh Koshchek, and Jay Hieron.

I guess you could include the Dong Hyun Kim fight - except that was more of a case of Kim getting caught doing a spinning backfist into a mediocre punch from Woodley. Kim just spun straight into Woodley's fist, heheheheh.

For a guy who calls himself the greatest welterweight champion of all time, he sure doesn't fight like it.

Well I am biased and sticking with the Mc's.I hope Conor nails him with some good shots.
