Yeah and the machine does minimal sound. It literally makes less noise than a small fan. This is where I am at currently
me or gf has to leave the room cuz my snoring is so bad
At first I’d say, “Luke, I am your father”, while wearing it, lol.Yeah and the machine does minimal sound. It literally makes less noise than a small fan.
You still riding the tren train?waiting for test to arrive.
It’s gettint so bad I wake up in panic and tense in the chest and hard time catching or taking a deep breath until a few hours
You either have very bad sleep apnea or another issue going on. That's not characteristic of sleep apnea, from what I know. The hard time catching breathwaiting for test to arrive.

I wonder if that is effecting you as well, or you grew back your weight really fast?

There may be a loop hole there. Im not sure what Index means, when I was measured it was 'interruptions.' 15 would be insanely high.
However, benefits may cover it if you had Mild Sleep Apnea causing comorbidities. Thats how mine worked.
Anxiety, depression and blood pressure qualified as comorbidites. Id bet you could get your Dr to sign off one of those, especially anxiety where there is no hard criteria.
It worked for me
Nice, I hope that helps- Glad to be able to help somebody out for a change instead of just sponging information, lolI have sent an email to my insruance provider stating I should be covered due to the comorbidities. For me, hypertension, diabetes, high cholerstoerl an GERD
I'm guessing the fail of the system is the doctor who signed the prescription did not look at my file or old blood work to see if there is comorbidities.. He just saw the clinic report of mild sleep apnea and signed the script for the cpap.
We'll see what happens with the insurance..
crazy that insurance will cover drugs for every conidtion linked to sleep apnea, but will not cover the machine that would possibly rid me of those conditions lol
You'll find what works best for you! I did the auto thing for a bit but found my events at .5 or less with constant pressure. Im at 10....I do the auto ramp up starting at 8. Thats what worked the best for me though.Machine came in today..
It really seems like it is fully automatic??? I can turn the settings to manual, but there is an auto mode for every setting.
Mask feels like it fits great, but machine says its not. I have to play around with it a bit.
I tried it out before dinner.. At first I was like "holy.. I won't be able to sleep with it.".. after a minute the machine settled down and I could feel it adding air each time I took a breathe, but it felt good..
looking forward to trying it tonight
mask fit acronym BOOTSQuestion for you guys..
I have a decently thick beard.. It's not long or thick on my cheeks, but I let it grow around the chin so its thick and longer.
Could the beard be causing the machien to tell me the mask isn't fitting properly?
mask fit acronym BOOTS
beards, obese, older, teeth, snoring
all affect mask fit. i know if my beard is longer than a 4 on the clippers i have lots of leakage
You would eliminate that with a nasal pillow mask instead of the fullQuestion for you guys..
