Noob question here, What do I do if I draw a pool of blood before injecting?

I didn't know if I could just inject regardless of having a pool of blood in the syringe mixed with my gear so I just discarded it. :(

I'm still not clear on this but can I still inject with different needles or do I need to discard the whole thing? I'm considering switching to delts for good as I'm tired of constantly hitting my veins.

I can’t remember the last time I aspirated.

Like 8 years ago, lol.
I think it doesn't really matter if I do it or not honestly. If I hit the vein, the injection just becomes more painful with bruising and worse pip but nothing serious.

If you were in a vascular area, and were directly into a vein and as such aspirated blood - the vial is still good but change the needle for the easiest injection. Most are just screw off and on and pick a less vascular area. Even mild compounds injected into specific areas by error can cause a cough and a weird feeling. Regardless, even if you just injected in that area I don't think you would hurt anything.
Just make sure you remain sterile while swapping and swab the new area with rubbing alcohol.

that's apirating.
as @CoolRick said its not common practice these days although nurses ALL still aspirate.

Ohh I see, I thought it was the norms to do it at first lol
It could very well still be depending on where you are in the world. I'm not sure. My mom was an RPN for 20+ years and she never spoke of aspirating either so I'm not sure when it started to be considered unnecessary.

Anyhow, I think it's safe to say that if we're all fine skipping it then you should be fine too.

I do aspirate but I've heard nurses say as well you don't need to. Maybe in the quad I would just because there's probably more blood vessels there.

I think most of us aspirated at first then when doing a glute shot realized its almost impossible and stopped, lol.

Then when we didn't die after that got lazy and stopped.
when i started training a guy at the gym told me to aspirate test suspension trap shots, that guy was crazy!

Aspirating is hit and miss. I still do it but it does not catch if you go all the way through a vein. Just this last Monday I pinned my own blend of Test, Mast, Tren A+E+Hex. I aspirated, no blood, got it all in nice and slow, and when I pulled out the needle it unblocked the vein it had speared through and all that juicy Tren hit my bloodstream as if I injected directly into it. I went flush instantly and knew what was coming so I ran to the washroom and braced myself over the sink for what was the worst and most violent Tren cough I can ever remember to the point I also ruptured a vein in my sinus cavity and had a rager of a nosebleed as I coughed my guts out for what seemed like an eternity. When it was over my washroom looked like a crime scene.

So by all means, do aspirate as it may save you some pain, but dont think you're good to go if the aspiration is clear. The universe may have a ticket for a ride on the rollercoaster through hell with your name on it so just be sure to hang on tight.
