Haha never thought of that but you're right!

I do quite a bit of reading on Quora some stuffs interesting some not so much. All kinds of people there from jackie chan to porn stars that will give you their take on life in the industry to NASA scientists, its an endless list.
 
so basically they are saying if this happened it wouldn't even be much of an earth quake.
 
The pressures from gravity would be so great I don’t think the blast would be powerful enough to escape the pressure.
Just like if you denoted a bomb in the marianas trench

Also the core might just melt the material so no explosion would happen.

I do my daily Quora reading as well. I enjoy some of the ridiculous questions.

They’re a bit over the top with polical correctness sometimes, but there’s plenty of interesting topics and they certainly do have some pretty smart people there.

“How did you find out your significant other was cheating on you”? Very entertaining reading over a cut of coffee lol.

I believe they mention that the warheads would melt long before they reached the center of the earth but if hypothetically they didnt this would be the result.
 
Damn, also a good reminder that volcanos, earthquakes and asteroid impacts sure are powerful. :)

Not to mention the Sun...

I especially like the questions about tactics used in WW2. Some pretty good answers.
 
The best question I ever heard at work was “would you rather have cooked spaghetti for fingers or a fridge attached to your back for life?”
