I already own quite a bit of HMMJ. I just forgot that was in it.
 
What do you guys think about investing in banks right now? Any other sectors you guys like? I am hearing E sports has a promising future.
 
For anyone interested in investing outside of weed now is a great time to consider buying.. especially index funds. S&P and Dow are both substantially down today. Both definitely worth monitoring and could provide a good entry point for some

You are exactly right. Unfortunately for me I did a lot of buying in the past couple months I am kind out of funds. Not sure if there is ever a way to really time the markets. Now is definitely a good time though.

No I don't believe in 'timing' per say. I do believe you can make informed decisions on the price you'd like to buy/sell at though (triggers).
 
Ya I am still learning to do that. Any stocks or sectors you like right now? A friend of mine got me into small cap funds. So far I am 1 home run and 2 strikeouts on those.

I really like tech. I try to avoid "crazes" (though I had to take a punt with weed being in Canada). Tech is here and its here to stay.

Honestly man, when it comes to individual stocks choose company or sectors that you enjoy. I invest in Activision/EA because I like playing video games. I invest in Amazon because I use it daily and they have cornered the market big time.

For things I dont know much about or care to pay to much attention but think it's a savvy industry/sector to invest in, I'll just go with a low cost ETF.
 
I also invested in Activision blizzard. Really hoping E sports takes off. Thinking about EA and Sony now. I am hearing Virtual reality is going to be huge and Sony will be a big player.
 
Not that I know of. They still haven't hit the NYSE yet. Just got my first HMMJ dividends today.

They went down because of all the people who bought to sell as soon as it went legal.
They’ll come back again. Aurora will be on the NYSE Oct 23. The more I read about Aurora the more confidence I have in them as a company.

Yup, all seems good with Aurora. Let's hope the bubble doesn't burst.

To be honest, I'm considering dumping everything (weed wise) as soon as Acreage comes to IPO That is a stock I want. Their IPO is November I believe.
 
I am also thinking about dumping my pot stocks as well. I think we have all made more money now than we had expected at this early stage, that I might say thank you, count my blessings(earnings) and invest in something more stable.

Unfortunately Activision had a pretty big downfall today. Not sure what happened.
