Well tomorrow is the big day for pot heads. Legalization. Hard to believe Trudeau actually followed through with a promise. What are your thoughts on the whole situation. Personally Im a casual smoker since I dont drink. So its maybe once a month I enjoy it. But I will not be buying from the legal shops if they want my ID and info. Thats asking for trouble everytime you get pulled over. They will see you purchased drugs. Something to think about. Maybe im a bit paranoid but oh well. Also if you grow you need to buy from the goverment and they have access to your house to come inspect the plants.. no thanks. Underground for the win!

The police don’t have access to information that you purchased pot from the legal stores. It can’t be legally shared.

Dood.....even if it could......who’s going to store that much info lol!

If you read the bill it sure doesnt sound legal. Up to 14yrs in prison if you buy sell or possess “illecit” cannabis.

Don’t fool yourself.... laws will be tougher now because the government is making money off of it. Penalties will also be tougher.

This isn’t the paradise all pot smokers thought they were getting.

It’s regulated now.... it’s not going to be fun for all.

And the amount of people that will be loosing their drivers licence which will likely cost them their job. They should have just left it alone. Reduce to a fine and move on. No stores and online shit.

They just wanted taxes and he just wanted to be voted in. They are getting their wish on both.
I could care lees about anyone that wants to do it, not my thing, I used to smoke years ago, but I don’t really feel like smelling that crap all over the place.
I just hope people are polite enough to realize the rest of us don’t want to smell it. Even a few guys I know that smoke daily think it’s really stupid that they allowed it like they allow cigarettes.
I personally don’t want my grandson walking thru it all the time.

I do have a question though, are you going to be able to buy CBD oil that is a pharmacy grade product without a script now?

I have no desire to smoke weed. Im not a kid anymore and have shit to do. I am pissed that the media is pushing it so hard as i have a 15 yr old daughter. I dont want it around her. I do however want to eat the raw leaves for nutrition reasons. Not for a high.

Always said when they make it legal I will try it. But after careful consideration will pass on it. However if I ever have a need for medical reasons from what I gather cbd is very good for a lot of things.

Meh I'm all for it, people who are going to smoke will smoke regardless, might as well make some money from it.

I would say it's not a big day for just "pot heads" but more of a win for everyone's personal freedom. It would be nice if the government allowed adults to make more responsible decisions on their own as long as it doesn't affect anyone else. Even if you don't like Cannabis products, it's a small win for us all IMO.

I have a prescription which I plan to continue with but it will be nice to try out other Producers products rather than my official Licensed Producer if I want to.

Using CBD or THC drops, tinctures or capsules, etc. will never smell or offend anyone. Vaporizing with a good vaporizer doesn't have any real detectable smell at all so hopefully many will go that route and not piss everyone else off - plus I believe it tastes much better (terpenes) and it's better for you than inhaling smoke.

Just because it's legal (like cigarettes) doesn't mean we shouldn't think of others around us. I'm not going to stand in front of Walmart, the grocery store, hospital, etc. and puff away so everyone has to walk through my cloud like I often see people doing with cigarettes - I hate that. I mainly use oil drops or a vaporizer at home in my bedroom so nobody knows any different and can't complain about Cannabis users because of me at least. Hopefully everyone gets it out of their system in the first month and it's no longer a big deal and we can treat it normal.

I'm now looking forward to the concentrates and edibles also being commercially available within the next year.

Is anyone planning to grow their own? If so, what kind and are you going to grow and are you thinking indoors or outdoors?

I guess I'm against the grain here...

I'll admit, I will buy pot on line from a legal website. I'm not worried about me purchasing it. Like someone said already, if you buy pot they can not release that info to the government.

I won't abuse it. I'll have a puff before I go watch a movie in bed with the wife once in awhile. I'll have a puff on a camping trip sitting around the fire. I will not have a puff if my kids are present. I will not have a puff if I need to leave my house.

Those who abuse pot pre oct 17th will continue along their path.

Those who don't abuse pot pre oct 17th will contineu along their path as well

I had a co worker (whose a heavy pot smoker) freaking out today that he's worried about all the people who will be stonned and driving now... I told him anyone who is a responsible pot smoker isn't all of a sudden going to smoke and drive lol.. The only ppl who will be smoking and driving are the people who already smoke and drive pre oct 17th. He calmed down and agreed.

I'm tired of reading all the shit on social media about the horrors of smoking pot.. Do anything in excess and you'll have problems lol....

Your absolutely fucking right sir!!!

I'm so tired of the government trying to protect people from themselves.

nice post!!

I am not convinced they will make edibles legal. It's too easy for pets and kids to eat accidentily. I was told vets are seeing a rise of pet emergencies caused by edibles being eaten by pets accidentily.

I'm on the fence about growing my own. I love the idea of doing things for myself. I love taking out the middle man in everything I possible can. If the prices are high, I'll consider growing a plant (I guess two for fertilization purposes). The harvest of one plant would provide me enough for years lol..

Would you have a problem if she started smoking cigarettes?

Would you have a problem if she started smoking cigarettes?
Yes sir. Thats why i quit smoking seven years ago because i couldnt stand to think if she ever smoked it was from watching me. And even before i quit i hid it from her and she was only 7or 8 yrs old.

Yes sorby. If you look on the ocs website it is listed there as a product. Not sure if benefit plans cover costs via script. If so this certainly would be something to look at though. I would expect though if you had a script you could purchase and submit receipts from any legal supplier.
